The very polite lady answering Aspen Tree’s phone told me that Rob would phone to come and give us an estimate for removal of some trees. When Rob did finally call he got my wife, who told him I was out and would be home at 4:00 PM. Rob said he would “try” to make it that day. He didn’t, nor did he call back. When I retrieved his cell number from our online call history and called him, he said the reason he didn’t come was he was waiting for my wife to call him when I returned. Since my wife didn’t have his cell number, and doesn’t know how to retrieve it online, there is no way she would have said she was going to call him back.
Letting this “misunderstanding” pass, I made an appointment for the next day, for “around” 4:30 or 5:00 pm, extracting a promise from Rob that he would call me to let me know a more exact time.
No call.

Because we have an unpaid membership presence on Angie's List, I do not get notified when reviews are placed on Aspen's account. This may be changing in the future, as we see the benefit of joining with Angie's List and serving the many educated and informed consumers such as yourself in our area. I apologize for the confusion last year with Rob. I will be speaking to him later today about this situation so that it never happens again. I was surprised to read your review, as he is usually a very responsive individual. I am disappointed that he was not able to meet with you and supply you with competitive pricing and details on how he would complete your tree work in the safest and most efficient way. Had we been able to complete your tree service, you would have indeed been impressed by our clean and educated crew. In the future, if you are in need of a tree service once more, I would hope you would give us another chance to meet with you. Please ask for me, as I would personally assist in the appointment scheduling and have Steve Jr. meet with you. Steve Jr. is the son of Steve Chisholm, owner of Aspen Tree Company Inc. and has been with the company for over 25 years and is very knowledgeable in this field. Again, please accept my apologies for the lack of follow-up in this matter. Of course I am very unhappy by receiving an F grade from you, but I appreciate this opportunity to fix the problem going forward."
