The repair needed multiple visits.  On the first visit, the technician observed previously unknown problems with the water line to the refrigerator and the saddle valve to which it connected.  The line was kinked, and sprang a leak when disturbed; the valve did not close all the way to fix it.  The technician left a clamp on the line while we arranged a plumber to fix the water line.  On the second visit, an additional problem was discovered; the inlet fitting on the refrigerator was corroded and had a slow leak.  The owner, Paul, spent a significant amount of time in contact with the warranty company on our behalf as each problem manifested itself, and determined which parts were and were not covered by our contract; we are grateful for the time commitment in and of itself.  On the third visit, the technician replaced the defective inlet valve.  The system functions normally.  Paul defined our out-of-pocket cost up front, and we paid exactly what we had expected based on our conversations.  I would recommend Mr. Appliance to anyone, not least because of their prompt, courteous communication and willingness to commit time to fix a problem properly.

Our fridge was moved by our kitchen guys and we noticed that the cooling was not proper so we called Mr Appliances. They came and told that evaporator was leaking and needs to be replaced. They told that it was a costly job and we should consider even replacing it but we decided to go ahead. They ordered the part that arrived swiftly and the very next day they came and replaced it. They were very professional and their cost was better than other guys that we contacted. Overall, we were please with the entire process and Mr. Appliances in general.

The ice maker broke but water was still pouring into it, overflowing onto the food and freezing up.   I called Sears, because it's a Kenmore refridgerator, and was told that if I signed up for their protection plan the most I was going to pay was $300, no matter what the repair.  Unfortunately they couldn't come out for several days so I decided to give Mr. Appliance a chance (had seen their booth at a town fair).  I called and they had an opening for the next day so I took it.  That next day, before the service man arrived during the 2 hour window I was given, I got a phone call from him with an update on his arrival time.  He showed up promptly, was very professional, and clean (put on the shoe booty's without even asking him).  He quickly diagnosed the problem and said I needed a new ice maker.  The price he quoted me was close to $400 with tax and everything.  I was pretty shocked and mentioned to him that Sears told me I'd pay no more than $300.  He then decided to adjust his price and so I ended up paying $325 for everything.  I would use them again, although if the ice maker is any indication, these folks aren't cheap.

After attempting to replace two gaskets on my ASKO dishwasher myself, I ended up with the hinges popped out and the dishwasher front lying on my floor.  My call to Paul at 3 pm resulted in a technician (Mike) showing up for a next morning appointment at 9:30.  While he was unable to complete the fix, he was able to get my door back on so that I could walk through the kitchen.  Mike and Paul then followed up the next afternoon for a second scheduled appointment to put everything back together completely, only to find that I had ripped the one gasket that had given me all the trouble, leading to my dishwasher being in pieces, in my earlier attempt to install it myself.  They ordered the new part for me, and called as soon it was available and scheduled me for the next day.
I was given a small window of appointment time, Mike called from his prior appointment to let me know he was on his way, and his estimated arrival time.  I received e-mails the night before the appointment confirming the time, and containing the name of the technician who would be arriving at my home.  The technician(s) arrived in clean uniforms, with picture id attached to their shirts, and proceeded to put booties over their shoes to keep my home clean.  The level of service was unbelievable, and it is difficult to find someone who is willing to repair some of these types of brands.
