Unlike most companies, Garden State Air was willing to provide an estimate prior to a technician visiting our residence. I had some specifics in mind, so they were very easy to work with.
Once an on-site visit was scheduled, the technician was quite friendly and even suggested that he will follow-up with the Office to get a few more combinations and updated quotes.
What was different about him was how observant he was on noticing an existing vent and propose it to be used for venting a high efficiency furnace. Living in a Condo, there are some restrictions on the exteriors. I have a 1,500 square food 2 level Condo.
He also asked that I check with the Association whether a high efficiency could be installed as the rates are competitive and more eco-friendly. Regardless, a lower efficiency could also be installed (80%) with the existing electrical and flu valve.
No upsell, and the next day I got several additional quotes. Some cheaper than the original.
I am waiting on a final decision from my association and will most likely go with them after trying to reach the local County inspector.
The license lookup on the NJ department of consumer affairs shows another organization in Edison, NJ. They also have a newly created web site.
OVerall, they have been the most competitive on pricing, and responses to quotes.
