JK Crowley helped me a few months ago when a short was taking out my hot tub and I had them back recently to install a transfer switch to support a generator. Previously I had an electrician give me a quote and it was a major pain, he didn't know if my panel was supported. Fast fwd to JK Crowley and he just looked at my panel and the next day gave me the quote which was very reasonable. I scheduled the installation and they had shown up EXACTLY on time and very professional. The electricians that did the work were friendly and mindful that I had to have some work meetings while they were in the house. Final result is I now can safely and easily hookup my portable generator to my house electric if there is an outage. Work done included: Transfer Switch, new external outlet for 110 power, new external inlet for Generator hookup and 50' 30 Amp cable for generator hookup.

He showed up right on time, spent the time to determine if he could do the install without cutting the drywall, which did not turn out to be the case. He hung the fan, did the wiring and replaced the cut out dry walls.  All in all, an excellent job and we are going to have him over for another small project.

He does good work but he is poor on punctuality. I would recommend him but don't count on him to be on time. If he thinks he will be late he should call. I should not have to call him to find him.

I was in a jam since my contractor was supposed to supply an electrician for my kitchen renovation and at the last minute didn't. I called Jim about a week before the cabinet install and explained the situation. He promptly showed up and provided an written estimate on the spot. The estimate was detailed and covered everything that was going to be needed. Long story short.....Jim completed a huge list of electrical needs and showed up to perform the work according to my schedule. Not only did he do a neat and complete job but it actually took less time than quoted so he did not charge me the full balance due, not thats an honest guy. Would highly recommend and will use him again. Thanks Jim!

I use them for something almost every year. They are punctual, courteous and reasonable. They do good work.

I had an outside post light that hadn't worked since we moved into the house 5 years ago. I also had an internal light switch in a very inconvenient place and wanted it moving to the opposite side of the house. I phoned the company on Wednesday and we agreed they would come out on Friday at 10:30am. Friday morning I unexpectedly had to go out. I phoned the company at 9am and left a message asking if we could push back the appointment. By 10am I hadn't heard anything so I phoned again. We agreed they would come at 11:30am.

The gentleman arrived at 11:50am. After 10 minutes of checking everything out, I was given 2 quotes - $275 for the outside post light and $225 to move the internal lightswitch. I asked when would he be able to do the jobs, he said he could start today. I asked if he would just fix the outside post lamp today. He started at noon and finished just before 2pm. He took out all the old wiring which had faulted and replaced it with new. This included digging up a flower bed where the wire was running underneath. He put the flower bed back together as best he could. He had to leave for a short while to collect a digital timer. He came back, installed the timer then walked me through how it worked and left me with an instruction sheet. He also pointed out a few other issues.

I expected to be charged extra for the timer but it was included in the price and the convenience of having the job completed the same day was huge so A for price. Even though the guy arrived a little after the time we agreed, I still gave him an A for punctuality because he actually showed up! So many don't. I would definitely use this guy again.
