I came across Finish Guy in my search and I'm so glad I did! They were fantastic. Matt was responsive, friendly and professional and most importantly they did an excellent job tackling all the tasks on my home inspection list in records time. I received regular updates with pics and the proposal was straight forward. I would definitely use them again!

Matt continues to be professional, creative, and dedicated to getting the job done well and on time. He renovated my whole house, including exterior work and an added room, in under 4 months. Any concern of mine was heard and addressed in a timely manner. Job: Removal of 3 interior walls, beams installed, new kitchen, office addition, beautiful walk in closet organization, flooring throughout. Moved front entryway, siding, porch. His crews are talented, clean, and respectful of my space. Matt was accessible by cell phone at all times. He is extremely reasonable and easy to work with. He was always transparent about what money is being used for and the upcoming payment schedule. I will 100% use Matt for future home projects and refer to friends and family.

Matt and his team did a fantastic job on our kitchen and bathrooms, the great thing about Matt is his communication is top notch, probably the best for a residential contractor. Whenever we needed to chat he was always available and if he wasn’t he would shoot me a text to say he would call back, which he always did. The work quality was very good and his guys were always very respectful. His pricing was very fair and competitive and if there was a change we discussed pricing before any work got completed. The project was also competed on time which is also a very important piece to the puzzle, especially with a house full of kids and pets. Doing a project at home can be a daunting experience but if you choose Matt and the team I assure you all will go smoothly.

I?m limited by how long of a review I?m allowed to leave. Matthew Lin is the owner / operator of the finish guy LLC. We hired him to be the general contractor on our basement renovation. I have a contract signed by both parties. Matt was given a $25,000 check the day the contract was signed by day number five Matt was demanding another $20,000. That was the first red flag shortly after that we received a phone call from the secretary in the construction department of Berkeley Township Matt forged homeowners signature on the fire, plumbing and electrical permits, putting down all his information saying the homeowner was doing all their own work. We were promised things in our contract that we never received . I reported him to consumer affairs. I reported the forgery to the police . We hired Matt and his team for our renovations and we could not be happier. We put in new floors throughout, a brand new kitchen including cabinets, countertops, sink, plumbing and appliances, new light fixtures and ceiling fans and painted all the ceilings, walls and woodwork. The entire project was done exactly to our specifications; came in on budget with absolutely no surprises and was completed earlier than we could have imagined. Matt built a sunroom addition for us. We met many contractors before finalizing with Matt and we surely feel good about our decision. Matt's best quality is his flexibility. He wants his customer to be satisfied and happy with the project. He is very energetic and shows care and respect to customer's requests. He is very detailed on his quote. Though all may not finish per the details (in the quote), it is built well and per the code. Matt is personable and will spend time with you explaining and answering questions. His crew is professional, he may though hire helpers for smaller tasks of the project. His framing team is excellent. In terms of timeline, these projects always take longer than planned. Most of the delays are due to scheduling township inspections (and re-inspections). Expect some delays due to Matt's team availability due other projects they are trying to finish. I am very pleased working with Matt for our sunroom project. I highly recommend him.
