Just Carpets and Flooring has been in business for 25 years.We employ a team of 10 which includes our in-house installers who have been with us for many years.Our store sells all types of flooring products including carpet, linoleum, tile, laminate and hardwood floors,we can provide installation of all of these products if the customer desires. We have a huge supply of in stock products which means no wait time for our customers, It is possible for our customers to buy today and get it installed tomorrow. We have one of the largest area rug showrooms in central NJ with hundreds of hanging area rugs in many sizes. We also stock a large selection of runners. One of our specialties is custom carpeting. Each custom made carpet is made to order,it lets our customers choose any carpet in our store to be made into a masterpiece with elegant braided trims and different accent carpets for edging, customers with our helpful sales staff become their own designers. We have many custom samples for customers to look at and photos of finished products to peruse. Our customers service is second to none, our customers are our most important asset we need them to tell their friends and neighbors about us, referrals are a big part of our customer base and we are still in business after 25 years.

I called the store the next day and requested someone come inspect it. Someone came and inspected the flooring and agreed with my assessment. They ordered more flooring since there were at least 20 boards that had to be replaced.
After a couple of weeks the same installer came to repair the floor. After pulling up 3/4 of the floor and installing the new board the floor is much better. It could be better as there are a couple of high spots on the floor.
The floor installer was kind of careless. He nicked up multiple walls in the room he installed the floor in and in the hallways that he walked through. There might have been one wall that he walked past and he didn't damage. He didn't take much effort to protect the floor as he installed it. I'm assuming that is why there was scratches and gouges from the first install.
The stair runner didn't go well either. It was installed crooked and was nailed down in one spot. He also made multiple cuts at the riser and tread joints. It's hard to notice but I don't see a reason for it and it's not a clean install like it should've been.
Once the install was complete the office called and asked for payment. I never received a call to make sure I was satisfied.
We were referred to Just Carpets by a neighbor. They have two showrooms, one in Howell New Jersey and one in East
Brunswick. We went to the one on Route 18 in East Brunswick.
The show room is quite large and very nice. They had a lot of carpeting to choose from. Our salesperson Pete said there would be no problem installing the hardwood that we had. Along with installing the new hardwood, we also needed carpet stretched at another residence and we wanted to replace our carpet in the master bedroom. With a very large selection of carpeting, Pete was very helpful to us in making our selection. He also let us take the carpet sample board home with us to make sure we had the right color.
Pete worked with us on the price and was extremely competitive. We set a date for the carpet stretch and flooring
installation. Pete worked on a Sunday to do the carpet stretch. While he was in the area, he also delivered the
primed baseboard trim. Having the trim in advance, allowed me to paint it so there would be less to do after the
installation of the hardwood flooring.
Most carpet and flooring companies work with subcontractors. Just Carpets uses subcontractors. We had two separate contractors, one for the wood flooring and one for the carpeting. Both showed up on time. The installation
of both hardwood and carpeting were excellent. The installers were pleasant to work with and cleaned up after they had
finished the job. We are very pleased with our carpet choice, the installation and professionalism of Just Carpets.
The problem was with the product sold and the salesperson...
I told him that I have 2 dogs, I quite large (Shepherd) and asked
how it will wear and if it will scratch badly.... I was assured that
It is really good flooring and would wear well... As for scratching
I was told it was hard and would not scratch noticeably . You should
see it now... Scratched everywhere
