Andy started off very nice and spoke like he was very experienced. When it came to the first half of the finished cement pour of the patio the job was horrible. He was asked beforehand if the ground was leveled enough because it looked bumpy. He said it was fine. The finished result was a half project of concrete patio that is very uneven, as well as horrible sweep marks. He talked me into doing a sweep finish instead of a solid finish and I listened. His broom was not long enough to go across for one full sweep and the patio is left with a horrible line down the middle . I asked him if he can fix it and he said he could try and get cement to feather it out to blend. He said he’ll be back later but at this time he packed all his tools and left and never returned to fix his horrid work. I gave him a deposit for more than half of the contract and still gave him a chance and called him to atleast try and fix and we’ll continue with the rest of the patio with a discount of the framing balance so he can do what’s right by making a customer happy and being a reliable, worthy businessman. He said “ he’s done”! I’m left with a horrible mess of a yard with a patio half done and uneven with broom marks down the middle . Dirt all turned up from where the cement truck came . Everyone would be wise to stay away and not her this big talker. He’s too old and doesn’t take pride in his work or his customers and is very easy to say screw you if it doesn’t come out right .
