VONAGE

I love their service. They give me unlimited worldwide service. My wife can talk to her relatives in Korea for hours and hours for the same price. No one else can even come close to their price. It is one of the best services I have ever had. Their service is also compatible and works with my pacemaker.

So far, the service has been perfect. Voice quality is comparable to standard phone service. The price is great, and the multiple free features make this service hard to pass up. Voicemails can be monitored online and voicemail alerts can be sent through email or text message. All settings can be managed online, such as setting up call forwarding while you are out of town. The primary disadvantage is the reliance on internet connectivity. Our internet connection was experiencing some connectivity issues, and as a result, the Vonage service would not work. However, Vonage has a nice feature to automatically forward calls to an alternate phone number (e.g. cell phone) if the home internet connection is malfunctioning. We will be sticking with this service for a while.
