This company lacks communication. Not only does it lack, but they also tried very hard not to return your phone calls. Every contractor they sent my way was horrible. The roofers urinated all over my yard, throwing debris all over my landscaping. These guys were not legate contractors; they were people you pick up off the street. The electrician drilled a hole into the house hitting wires and causing my power to go out in various locations. He didn't have enough integrity to tell anyone. It’s been about 6 months and no power is being generated from our panels. Yet I am being billed on top of our high electrical bill. Come to find out our utility company denied the project from the start and has been trying to reach someone at the company and they are not returning his calls. We have been reaching out as well, no one knows anything. The utility company states that we can’t even have 28 panels on our roof, which are already installed and being paid for. PECO provided their solutions to get us up and running. Suntuity is also avoiding them too. So clearly this problem is not going away soon. Clear to see Suntuity ignored the utility companies’ denial of our project and went ahead and installed this so they could start getting paid. If this continues to be avoided, we will have to contact a lawyer, I will not pay for a system that was never approved from the utility company, that has not passed final inspection with the township and will not function because Suntuity did not do their due diligence.

I’m a big fan of solar, but stay away from Suntuity. Panels were on my roof in September, but they screwed up the inspection with the town so badly that it took until May for the panels to start producing. My wife and I had to do a lot of the legwork and coordination with the town ourselves because Suntuity checked out. Of course, the payments for the panels came due in December, which means we were paying for BOTH the solar panels AND the full cost of electricity while we were waiting for Suntuity the get their s#*t together and get them turned on. Customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. They outright lied several times to us. They accepted ZERO responsibility and made promises to compensate that they did not follow through on. After we hounded them to make good on their promise to compensate us for the money that their delays, incompetence, and dishonesty cost us, they finally agreed ONLY if we signed a gag order promising never to tell anyone about it AND agreed not to hold them responsible for any future problems that might result from them taking over 8 months to activate our panels. Get solar, but DO NOT use Suntuity. Totally not worth the hassle.

I originally signed a contract with Project Solar/Suntuity on July 12th, 2022. Due to issues between Suntuity/Project Solar I had to resign/redo the contract 4 times, before they got the correct contract version over to me to sign on 10/12/22. From that point it took another 2 months to have the system designed and installed. Suntuity tried to substitute different lower quality solar panels during the design phase. Original installation was scheduled for 12/7 & 12/8, however due to scheduling issues, The install did not start until 12/19 and finished 12/20. Electrician assigned to install did not take off shoes when entering the house (it was raining outside) and muddied up the main floor and basement flooring. Electrician also left trash/conduit from installation all over the yard. Suntuity then took 2 months to schedule the home inspection on 2/7/23, which they failed miserably. They were then back on 2/10/23 and spent 3-4 hours fixing the mistakes from the previous install. Now, one would think their would be some type of urgency to get the panels re-inspected, however despite weekly follow-ups, I was just reached today 3/15/23 to schedule the reinspection for 4/4/23. From my understanding, it will be another 10-20 days from that reinspection before the utility will give approval and the system will be operating. That will take the entire process into May 2023. 10 months to install solar, very poor communication, poor workmanship, poor customer service, and a complete lack of any urgency. I would give "0" stars if I had the option. There has literally been nothing about this process that has gone well from start to finish. DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST !! We unfortunately did not and we were stuck in the end. Customer service is almost non existent, nobody knows anything and when they say they are going to "look into your information and call you back" don't wait by your phone because you won't receive a call back. There's never a supervisor available to talk to or to call you back this has been a complete NIGHTMARE. we started the install in April of 2021 and just now went live with over 15 service calls later. Don't trust this company. THIS WAS OUR MISTAKE AND IT HAS BEEN THE WORST DECISION WE'VE EVER MADE.
