Awful. Would give zero stars if possible. These r the type of movers who believe moving your belongings equates to trashing your home. I am disabled. Anything not in boxes was thrown on floor including coffee maker and carafe toaster and indoor grill. 2 air conditioners and Tiffany lamp were left behind as well as other items all thrown on floor. I was not notified in advance of additional CASH charge for bringing items out to specified location in rear of building. Movers didnt even bother to try to find correct spot which is very easy to find. My landlord saw them on his security system and was very upset. So was next door neighbor when they dumped my old sofa and table on his property. One mover in particular was abnormally loud crass hyperactive and stupid. When I told him he should show respect for belongings of others he screamed at me for not having every item in a box. It was a same building same floor move! About 12 feet away! Despite telling office when I scheduled the move that I have 2 cats they sent a foreman with cat allergy and asthma who "doesn't like black cats". She informed me of this as soon as she saw my black cat. It is now day after move and both cats are still so traumatized I cant get them out of apt closets. I keep going back to old apt hobbling on my cane to try to coax them out. Movers showed up 90 minutes late made it clear they were in big hurry and didnt care how job was done. I can not lift more than a few pounds yet they left heavy air conditioners and lamp behind. Would've been more lamps and boxes if I hadn't chased after and hounded them. Now I have to pay someone else to get my air conditioners and lamp. Unacceptable, unprofessional, inept. Will never use Morriseys again nor will any of my neighbors who witnessed this house invasion.

The good -- The movers were good. They did a nice job, and were very polite and professional. They moved us out of our first house on the hottest day of the year. None of the movers brought water and were annoyed when we didn't have any for them (WE WERE MOVING OUT OF THE HOUSE, HOW WERE WE GOING TO HAVE CUPS and WATER.) Otherwise they worked hard and accomplished the work in the time estimated.
The bad -- the owner provided us an estimate and and quot;threw in moving the piano for freeand quot;, except he didn't write it on the slip so the movers showed up with out the and quot;piano boardand quot; and made it out like it was my fault. They told me they were going to have to leave the piano behind. That is when I had to call Helen in the office and demand someone drive the piano board to our house.
To make matters worse -- We scheduled our moving out day for a Sunday, and the movers were supposed to arrive at 4pm. We planned to finish packing during the day. The ARRIVED AT 9AM! They showed up SEVEN HOURS EARLIER THAN contracted. They were annoyed we weren't ready.
The horrible -- we stored our belongs with this company for over a year. The first month we asked to set up automatic payment and I gave my credit card. It took 9 months for the auto payments to be set up. I had to call EVERY MONTH to remind them to charge me for the storage. Helen was a nightmare on the phone every time I call. She is the most unpleasant woman I have ever worked with.
And after all of this fighting about the piano it was damaged by the company. They did compensate us, but my piano has a big hole in the side of it. Run far away from this company.

I've used them for 2 moves and each time I've been very, very happy. In fact, 2 of the guys came back the next week to help me put my air conditioner in and move a couple of things into storage. Great guys, very professional. Helen, in the office, manages the team expertly and effectively. Wouldn't use anyone else for a move.

It was great experience. They were very responsive and the move was great.

Ralph came by 3 weeks ago to give an estimate. He estimated it to be a 9 hour job with 5 men plus boxes for the tv and tax. At that time, I thought it was a little on the high side and we would be done in 7.The truck showed up just before our agreed on time of 9.00 am. Work was called in at 9.04 am. The guys worked non-stop till 1.30 pm. At that time, the truck completely packed and we decided a second trip was warranted(since the distance was very close). I bought pizza for the guys. After a short break, they went at it again. This went on for the full time. They worked diligently and did not try and delay things. I came in at exactly 9 hours and I was actually surprised cause after seeing all my stuff, I thought it would now go over.
I had used Morrissey when I moved from hoboken 5 years ago and was very pleased with thier service then and they still keep the same high standards.
