LAKEHOUSE CONSTRUCTION

First off, we called 6 different contractor's and had 4 come to our condo in Hoboken, NJ. Travis was the only one who showed up on time. Not such a big deal, but a good sign. Two of the contractors were so annoying I didn't want them in my home. So between LakeHouse Construction and the player to remain nameless, we went through everything we were looking to have done and asked for some ideas/thoughts in return. This is where Travis really shined. His ideas were amazing. Some were a little too amazing and out of our budget, but very fun to toy with. So on the helpful design side he was an A+. On appearance an A+. We (my husband and I) felt very comfortable having him there (and ultimately leaving there) to do the work. He estimated the work time (including the permit/inspection) process at 6 weeks. From the day they started to the day they finished was 6 weeks, 2 days. So timing is an A+. He did have a 4 month waiting list, but we took that as a good sign. His crew was friendly, considerate and above all VERY NEAT!! His pricing was higher than the others by about 10-15%, but after seeing the work he'd done in our building for our neighbors we thought it would be worth the extra cost. It was. The work was perfect. An A++. The timing was perfect. I have heard horror stories from people with their contractors never finishing their homes and then disappearing and was deathly afraid. I would recommend these guys to anyone. FYI. We recently found out that LakeHouse Construction built Governor Corzine's Penthouse in Hoboken. Sort of confirmed all our thoughts on his work.
