INTERIOR MOTIF

Replaced wood panel blinds with Hunter Douglas pull down honeycomb shades. So far, the blinds are working fine and I hope they last long and the quality is maintained as they were very expensive. The local Hunter Douglas dealer was a great help throughout the process and am happy with their service.

Fast, professional, high quality

It went very well. They were excellent in quality, attentive and punctual. The price was not outrageous but it wasn't cheap either.

The no drama estimation, accuracy and clarity on installation dates is a key differentiator. Attention to details, executing on committed timelines and pride in work made the experience extremely enjoyable. Quick responses to any questions after sales/after install was stellar.

From start to finish, Stephan, Ariel and the entire staff were outstanding. They were extremely friendly, and patient with my wife and I, as it took us quite a bit of discussion to decide on what treatments would suit us best. They stuck with us every step of the way, and had answers to all of our questions, as well as presenting us with potential problems/benefits that we would never have thought of on our own. We're glad we listened to them, because everything they advised on was 100% the best course of action for us. They provided a very detailed, and itemized list of charges, and clearly explained the costs involved, with NO surprises or hidden fees/costs popping up at the end. Everything was as advertised. When it came to installation, they absolutely nailed it. Everything was done either on, or ahead of schedule. They respected our home and never left anything even close to a mess. We would absolutely recommend Interior Motif to any of our friends, and would use them again without even thinking twice about it.

My experience with Interior Motif was great from start to finish. Stephan came to my house and asked me questions and then gave me suggestions on styles and colors that helped me select the right Hunter Douglas Windows treatments for my new house. It was raining the day they came to install the items, and the installers put booties over their shoes to avoid marking my floors (who else does that?). Juan installed the shades in a very professional manner and the finished product looks superb - I could not more happy with everything. I plan to use them to help me design and install custom cabinetry in my laundry room.

At first I was going to put in something much more costly, but by the next morning I came to my senses and canceled that. We only discussed the total and when asked how much I wanted to pay I said $2000. But when the bill came it did not include anything the blinds and I had to pay another $300 or $400. I was not happy with that. (some of these dollars may be off as I'm going from my reliably bad memory). Having said that, the blinds are very nice and the installation went fine. But giving me a quote that did not include everything when I told him how much I was willing to spend was not right.

It went literally perfect. All expectations were fully met.

They missed the appointment and so I called to ask when they would come. They told?me they would?check and call me back.?Of course they did not call again so after about an hour?I called again. They?told me that they had no record of the?appointment. It was frustrating since I arranged my schedule to be home for the appointment and it was a waste of my time.

I found Interior Motif because they are a Hunter Douglas authorized seller, and I was considering Hunter Douglas for 6 windows in my 1 bedroom apartment. The company was very responsive when I called, showing up before a business trip within one day of my inquiry, and Stephen gave me an initial price for 6 shades and motorization that was around 10K. The quote was a scrawl on a notepad, and never presented as more than that. Subsequently, in Miami, I looked into solar shades, and called Stephan to inquire about them. He sent me a photo of an apartment in Hoboken with solar shades, then called a couple of days later to say that he thought it would be around $800 per room for the shades, and that he wanted to send out his team to remeasure, and would I provide a $500 deposit. I gave him my card number, but later had second thoughts. What business asks you to give $500 towards a price for a quote they have not delivered. When I received the credit card authorization the following day, I canceled the project with them in email. Never having received a firm quote, not having authorized the charge, and not even having had the "free measurement" their site advertised, they never returned the "deposit". Again, mind you, they had never so much as provided a quote or measured, much less ordered. I will also be reporting this company to the BBB. Stay away!

Purchased blinds for my entire home in 2004. I had a very positive experience with Interior Motif when I made my purchase - but buyer beware. I was sold on the so called and quot;Hunter Douglasand quot; lifetime guarantee and made the extra expense to have this piece of mind. NOT SO! I needed 2 blinds repaired in March 2014 and was charged $125 for a repair call - just for them to come to your house and a**** the situation. They send all blinds back to the manufacturer and charged me an additional $70 shipping charge. This is the Interior Motif customer policy. Got ZERO guarantee and attitude from the staff when I questioned the charges and guarantee policy. Paid $195 for nothing. My repair was not done, received poor service and was made to feel like they were doing me a favor. They didn't properly represent the true Hunter Douglas warranty at the time of purchases. I will be shopping for window treatments elsewhere.

We had custom size windows in our apartment. I am terrible at measuring so I wanted to hire a professional to do everything. They did an excellent job and had great recommendations. The installations took 20 minutes for 6 windows. It probably would have taken me hours so it was all worth it.

It did not go well they came out several times to measure because they did not bring a ladder had to recheck measurements etc etc. The product was delayed in delivery Then once installed it stopped working $4,000 dollars wasted with this company. It is very simple they sold something that does not work. The shades should go up and they should go down for 4.000 dollars!

The company responded quickly to our initial contact and provided various options and designs, and we agreed to the various options. Delivery and installation was on time per their estimates. The blinds are great but seemed to be very expensive and were the major part of the expense. The closet was good but had an initial problem in that the structure collapsed due to being improperly braced. The company responded by repairing the closet and properly bracing it the second time, with no arguments.

They were quick, neat, polite and knew their business, removed all debris as well. A real find!

These guys were great. It was very quick to make an appointment and they were able to accommodate an evening visit given our work schedules. Then, Stefan came to our house to discuss appropriate window treatment options for our space and had samples and colors with him to see how they looked in our master bedroom and bath. He took measurements and created the estimate on the spot, and just a couple weeks later (even despite Superstorm Sandy) our window treatments had arrived and were installed flawlessly in about 30 minutes. Great service and experience.

We are most pleased. We love the color. The representative that came out was knowledgeable and experienced and had great suggestions.

I recently moved into a new apartment and had no clue what I wanted to do for the very large windows in my living room. I stopped by the show room and their professional staff was very helpful with giving information on the different products. I had a free consultation with the owner Stephan, and he was great. He came to my home, had all the samples with him and I chose to go with a motorized shade. They were installed about 3 weeks later. The installer was also very professional and knowledgable. He let me know that if i ever have any problems with the shades, they would come out and service them for free for a year! You can't beat service like that, not to mention the shades look amazing and work great. I will probably do business with them again and have already recommended them to friends.

Stephan was terrific! He came to the house and showed me samples. I shopped around for price. Their beautiful. They have a delightful girl on the phone and everything was terrific. I have recommended them to others.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY GOOD AND CLEAN IN THEIR WORK. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP ANY MESS THAT WAS MADE. THEY WERE PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND WERE FLEXIBLE IN COMING BECAUSE I WORK DAYS AND IT WAS HARD TO SCHEDULE A TIME.
