I called a week prior to make appointment and the fellow on the phone was helpful/professional. I said I had to install a door closer because of inspection, and he knew just what I meant. On the day of, Rico called around 9am to confirm and said he'd be right over. He was! He installed the door closer in record time, gave me tips of how to adjust it, showed me how it worked. He was courteous, professional, friendly, and cleaned up. (Not a messy job, but put all the materials in the box etc.) I'd use them again and was glad I had them do this job, which I could never had figured out myself!

Rico arrived punctually at the agreed time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and got his work done very quickly. He then cleaned up after himself.

Our old lock 'decided' to 'die' in its locked position (fortunate for us, rather than having it both inoperable and unlocked!). Luiz arrived promptly to accommodate my schedule, gave me a fast and fair appraisal and price quote, and meticulously performed the job, even furnishing his own supplies to clean up after the job ended. Key copies could be supplies on the spot from his van, saving me a trip in a very tough area to reclaim a parking spot. He was professional with a great personality, and although the price for replacement plus installation of an additional deadbolt was a little higher than I expected, the job was completed expertly in the necessary timely fashion.
I would definitely recommend this company .... and be sure to ask for Luiz!

Let me preface this by saying that I rarely write comments; My tenants were complaining about a broken dead-bolt and bottom lock that was hard to turn. I'm very busy (as we all are). At 6:30 a.m. I went on Angie's list to find a lock smith. I found Hoboken Lock and Supply. Just for laughs I figured I'd call at 6:40 a.m. (because who answers these days). To my surprise they have a 24hr. answering service.

I left my number with the service and someone actually called me back...it gets better. The technician showed up within 3 hours of me finding them on Angie's. He fixed both locks. Most lock smiths would replace the deadbolt and overcharge you. This tech. replaced the broken part in the dead-bolt and fixed the bottom lock..

Previously, I had a similar experience and it cost me 3 times as much using a lock smith not on Angie's List.

I gave the guy a $20.00 tip (still saved $), shook his hand and said THANK YOU. One of the best service experiences I've had as a home owner.

everyone we spoke with was professional and friendly. extremely responsive (they had to reschedule once) and made sure that we were informed during the process. cosmo helped us obtain the right lock even though they didn't currently have it in stock at the time and was able to install it that day. very good experiences! - - - updated: after such a positive experience, we tried to use their services again. they claimed to be missing some information and called me at work while my husband was waiting at home. unfortunately i didn't get the message until after they left -- when i called them back the locksmith was incredibly rude and blamed me for missing the appointment (even though someone was home at the time!). i've never been yelled at by a contractor. i will never work with them again!

They came and the possibility of having to get a new door because the antique lock was broken and couldn't be fixed was going to cost me. They came up with a solution which was in the price range I imagined and hoped for.

Workman arrived on time and performed work in timely manner. Workman even adjusted a strike plate on an interior door while he was there, no charge. Quality of work was excellent. Will use again.
