I think the price was reasonable.  On quality, I give a C because my kitchen cabinets fall on me. I don't totally remember the price.

HIs work is extremely substandard.   His attempt at simple plumbing failed.  He damaged our dishwasher and installed it crooked.  It is so bad that it is unbelievable that he could not have noticed when he did it.  He tried to blame the damage he caused on another contractor but we have him on video doing the damage.   In the end we could not wait to be rid of him.  We hired another contractor to fix all of the work he did.  If you want a professional stay far away from Dagostino Malfatti of DM Contracting.

Overall, it was a good learning experience and that's it. The work was not only below par but I had to have him change out certain material due to the fact that it wasn't up to code etc..

He damaged electrical wiring (confirmed by reputable electrician in Bergen County), D'Agostino Malfatti damaged our climate control (A/C) unit for the house. When the thermostat is turned on the temperature just keeps going up and up until I have to manually shut it off. Never happened before. The owner D'agostino Malfatti is a pathological liar and CON MAN! He never shows up; if he does it's never on time. He left a huge mess in my backyard and when I asked him to remove it he had his guys take all the garbage and distribute it in my neighbors yard. The worst possible nightmare my family and I had to endure and trust our money to. One can never get in touch with him, he dodges phone calls and makes empty promises. His work is very shoddy at best. He STOLE our money and isn't making efforts at all about returning any of it OR finishing the job the right way. NEVER EVER hire this company. D'agostino Malfatti gives his fellow tradesmen a horrible reputation.
