They made an appointment that afternoon. The guy who came out clearly didn't know what he was doing and couldn't fix it even after several hours and installing a new $400 circuit board. He said he would come back with a manager the next day when I was home after 2pm. I got a call the next day asking me if they could postpone until next week and I said no, so they showed up at the arranged time. This guy was a lot better and he hooked up the board correctly and it worked - for about an hour. Then it shut off again. I called at 5pm, he came right back and saw there was a blockage of the condensation drain. He fixed that and it's been working since.
They only charged me for one hour of work and the board. Which I suspect I might not have needed but there's no way of knowing.
I would use them again but insist on the second guy who came out.
The coolant was gone again after about a month! Since A/C was working for ~5 years before this, all they did is to make the leak worse.Called them, and was basically told it's my fault. DON'T USE THEM!!
