This was the sixth Toyota that we have purchased from Rt 22, and the experience has always been very good (as opposed to Toyota purchases we have made in Morristown and further up the road in Springfield, which were not good experiences). This time I first priced the car using buying services from AAA and Costco. I thought the Costco-affiliated dealer on Rt. 46 would be impossible to beat, but Rt 22's price was better, and there was no haggling involved and no tricks like extra charges for mandatory window etching, which the Rt 46 had. The service at Rt 22 is also pretty good.

Luis was a no pressure guy. He showed me what he had available, and when I wanted something he didn't have, he told me, and quot;no problemand quot;. He was able to get the car I wanted, equiped the way I wanted and even went above and beyond to locate the color I wanted. All this for a fair price. I will be back!

I go in, drop my car off and it's done. Also, the staff is friendly. The time it takes for an oil change depends on the schedule or the time of the appointment. I would say the fastest time, and I've been there three times, was about 30 minutes. It's also taken an hour.

We were in the market for a car, we specifically wanted a 2005 RAV4 as later RAV4 models are larger. Also, we were ready to purchase immediately given our car had been totalled in an accident. Hillside Toyota had an advertisement on the internet for a 2005 RAV4 for 17500 which was a decent price. I call up and the salesman says to me: "I'm looking at it right now...I'll have it ready for you to test drive when you get here". We get there and there is no RAV4. We speak with sales, they are trying to locate the RAV4. They take us around in their car to other lots they own to look for the RAV4 which is really an attempt to have us look at similar cars such as a CRV. After an hour of this I told the salesman to take us back. He explained they dont' have the car and the sales manager told him to drive us around and show us alternate vehicles. He told us that up the street is Autoland Toyota which probably has what we're looking for and to try them. I asked to speak with the sales manager who had arranged for over an hour of my time to be wasted and to let him know what I think of their bait and switch practices. The sales manager's name is Dmitry. I started giving him a piece of my mind telling him it is unacceptable and unprofessional to 'bait and switch'. His response: "what if I can put you in a brand NEW RAV4 for only a couple thousand dollars extra"? Even after having his rear-end handed to him by me, he is still trying his same unscrupulous tactics. Dmitry the sales manager should be in JAIL, not selling cars.
