We are unbelievably happy with the job that George and Roy from Prince Akeems did on our backyard wall. The wall was a horrible eyesore--cinderblock with the lower half covered in a kind of adhesive tar and plastic that someone had applied many years ago. It was objectively hideous. The first time George came over, I had a couple of ideas about what should be done with it, but he had a much better one, which was to remove the plastic and adhesive tar, then cover the cinderblock in a thin layer of concrete, then put a layer of dark green stucco over that. My point here is that George was very creative about the project and came up with a much better solution than I would have been able to come up with myself. He and Roy worked very effectively over nearly two full work days to complete the wall, which looks wonderful. I would add that this was not an easy project, especially the first phase, which was quite an unpleasant task. It has totally transformed the backyard and increased our enjoyment of the space tremendously! Furthermore, Prince Akeems rates are extremely fair and George and Roy were a pleasure to work with over the course of the entire project. They are very communicative and do an excellent job of explaining and making transparent what they are doing. You should hire them; you won't be sorry.

George from Prince Akeems Royal Service is an excellent handyman that can handle a range of different services. He repaired bathroom tile, cut out and replaced damp sheetrock, and installed a new A/C unit (including putting a nice framing around it) in my condo. He is knowledgeable and explains the work he does, he’s friendly, and he is fair. I’d definitely refer him to others!

The project went very well! George was explained what needed to be done to repair the dry rotted wood and install new hinges. I’m very pleased with his work and the final results.
