NEW JERSEY DOOR WORKS INC

These guys really did a great job! 100% Professional from start to finish. I am really pleased and I'm having them do my parent's house next month. I joined Angie's list just because I believe in these guys so much. I had used New Jersey Door Works to repair my old doors for many years. Mike, the owner used to actually do the work on my house himself and I've always been really, really pleased with the company's service. Mike and the guys who work for him are just really good guys who really know what they're doing. About a month ago, I decided it was time for a new garage door. I wanted something insulated and quiet and I wanted something basic. I know that the company does some really high end wood garage doors but Tom, the sales guy, showed me some great options that were more in my price range. Tom was really courteous and just seemed like an overall good guy who really knows all the products out there. He walked me through a lot of different options and we picked a door. There was no pressure, and he was really patient and thorough. Tom also helped me pick openers. My kids' bedrooms are above the garage and I leave really early for work (5:30) so I needed openers that would be really quiet. Tom knew exactly what I needed - we decided on Liftmaster openers with battery back-ups. Just to be sure, I got another price from another comany that a friend of mine recommended. The equipment wasn't as good when I checked all the specs, and they wanted $475 more for the same equipment. This one seemed like a no-brainer. On the day of the installation, the guys showed up 5 minutes earlier than they said they would. Again, there were really polite, good guys. I had to move a couple of things out of the way for them in my garage and they went to work. I hung out with them, since I had taken the day off from work, and watched them work. These guys really knew what they were doing and I'm really really picky when it comes to things being done neatly and the right way. I have not one complaint and believe me, that's a first. The doors look beautiful. They really brighten up the whole front of my house. They're well insulated, the garage is warmer and the floor in my kids' bedrooms are way warmer than they ever were before. They used to be really cold to the touch on cold days, but now it's really comfortable to walk in there, even with bare feet. And the doors are super quiet. I used to have these old clunkers. You can't hear the new openers when the door opens. It's amazing. I don't mean to gush, but I've been through so many hassles with guys not showing up or doing horrible, sloppy work or just being rude that when I find guys like this I just want everyone else to know about them.
