DESIGNER BATHROOMS & KITCHENS

This was the experience everyone dreads when hiring a contractor. Work started a month late, contractor lost our contract and ordered everything wrong including cabinets, countertops, shower fixtures and tile. Did not return calls for weeks. They only responded when I showed up in person and then retained a lawyer. A one month project turned into a 6 month struggle. Work began in November, stopped in December because cabinets were incorrect.Work didn't resume again until March. Contractor claimed he then ordered the right cabinets but someone stole them. Work stopped again during April because contractor couldn't find or didn't order corian countertops which had to be remeasured and made. Work was finally completed in May. Shower heads are still incorrect. After the job was completed the foreman of the crew the contractor hired to do the work stopped by our house and told us that the contractor wasn't paying him and he was going to have to walk off some jobs. The only positive was that the workers did a very good job. This contractor should be avoided.

THE COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRITY. I JUST HAD MAJOR SURGERY, AND WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED WITH THE FACT THAT THEY REFACED THE CABINETS WRONG AND INSTALLED THE WRONG COUNTER TOPS. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED CORRECTLY IN THE END, BUT IT WAS A FIGHT ALL THE WAY.

THEY NEVER CAME TO FINISH THE JOB. THE JOB THAT THEY DID DO IS NOT DONE RIGHT. THE CABINETS ARE NOT THE RIGHT KIND; THEY ARE WRONG. THEY STARTED THE JOB IN SEPTEMBER. THE JOB IS STILL NOT DONE.

OVERALL, I WAS HAPPY WITH THEM. THERE WAS ONE PROBLEM. THEY DIDN'T ORDER THE RIGHT COUNTER TOPS SO THEY HAD TO BE REORDERED. OTHERWISE, THEY WERE A GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH.
