Zimmerman Landscaping LLC

We put a description of our job on Angie's List, and Zimmerman Landscaping LLC was the only company to respond. Dave Zimmerman came to the house and took measurements, etc, then he provided us with a bid including a projection of what the final project would look like. We went back and forth a few times over the details and Dave was very responsive to my concerns. Our front yard needed a total overhaul. There were several areas with landscape fabric covered by gravel that needed to be removed so that they could be converted to grass. Large areas of pachysandra were removed and converted into a planting bed. We had a drainage issue that needed correction, and railroad ties lining our circular driveway that needed to be removed. The final project took three full days using heavy equipment. Dave and his crew checked in with me to make sure I was happy with everything. Some of the work was done along the property line, and Dave made sure that our neighbor was also satisfied with the work. Two days after the job was complete we had a big rainstorm, and the crew was back very soon after to replace the mulch that was washed away and check on the job. I had previously gotten estimates for portions of the job, including removing the RR ties, and so I had a basis for comparison and felt that the price paid (about $10K) was reasonable and fair. I was extremely pleased with the process of design and installation. Dave was very responsive. I would definitely use his company again.
