Terrible attitudes. Hope to never see this company again.

I called them on a Friday evening in the rain because our water stopped running. They answered the call promptly and showed up within an hour. They fixed our problem quickly and were very courteous. They even showed me how to do some of the stuff myself for future reference. They seem to care about their customers and are not just about the money/business.  Great team. Will use again.

The water pressure in the house was sputtering off and on for a few weeks so we called the Liedls. They scheduled an appointment to come out and take a look at our well system. We were assuming they would give us an estimate for the job and come back another time. However, after evaluating the issue, and determining that leaky pipes going to the well pump were the main issue (as well as an old pump) they were able to do the job on the spot. They removed the old pump which was at about 180 feet, replaced it and all of the pipe and wire. The entire job was completed in under 2 hours.
The Liedls were extremely experienced, knowledgeable and professional and were willing to answer all questions and explain what work was being done every step of the way. We enjoyed working with them and are already in the process of scheduling another appointment to have them come out and replace a ~30 year old pressure tank.  Would highly recommend.

I called on Sunday afternoon to have someone come over on Monday to review the problem. The call was answered. I thought the water tank was damaged. We set up an appointment for Monday after they completed a pump installation. The Liedl's arrived just after lunch and let me know the tank is in great shape. It needed to be recharged with air. They did let me know running the well pump without pressure in the tank is a sure path to pump failure.
In our house, the well system has not really been something we gave much thought about. If the water is coming out of the faucet...every thing must be OK.. WRONG!!! We now know this is not the way to think about the system. You really need to think of it like your car or furnace...It does need to be check on. Suggest making it an annual event. There is no better well and pump company to invite for your annual water system party then Joseph H. Liedl and Sons.
They are a family business, keep their appointments and make you feel like one of the family when they are at your home!.
I shall use them again for well problems and an annual check up on the system.

They were excellent. Had never even heard of this company before coming to Angie's list. They understood my problem (low water pressure at times). They made an appointment to come the very next day, even though it was a Saturday.
They saw that my switch was the main issue, and knowing that my tank was very old, they suggest I replace that soon. I decided to pull the trigger on doing both jobs at the same time and they got the work all done in just a few hours (one of the brothers stepped out to pickup a new tank from their inventory while the other continued to do work in the basement).
They were very upfront on the price of the parts as well as the labor. Would def recommend them.

My husband and I were having a dinner party on a Saturday night when, suddenly, the water ceased working in our home. It made for a VERY interesting rest of our dinner party! Since our electricity was working properly, we knew it had to be a problem with our well.
My husband called Liedl and Sons the next day. Since it was a Sunday, we figured we'd have to and quot;tough it outand quot; until Monday. However, Liedl called us back almost immediately and came over to inspect the well. He quickly ascertained that our well-pump was broken and would need to be replaced. He wasn't able to fix it on a Sunday, but did help us by hooking us up with water access from our kind neighbors, a great temporary fix until work could be done the next day.
Liedl and Sons came out the next day to replace our water pump and did a fantastic job. They removed the old pump (about 150 feet underground). Unfortunately, our well had a and quot;sleeveand quot; in it and a special, smaller well-pump had to be installed (ah, the joys of home ownership!). But Liedl got the proper pump right away, installed it, and even and quot;shockedand quot; the well with bleach to remove any potential contaminants. All work was completed in one day.
We truly wish that our home had public water, but feel fortunate to have Liedl and Sons for our well-water needs. We definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

I would recommend them. They are a local company. They were very responsive and came the same day I called them.

The Liedl brothers were recommended to me by a neighbor and it proved to be good advice. They were very professional and quickly identified the problem. They were done in less than a day and, given that, I thought the price was high. But I do not believe that they charge more than is standard for this type of job. I liked that they were very down to earth and did the job with a minimum of fuss.
I had the opportunity to call them another time when water in the basement caused the water tank to tip over. They came over, uprighted the tank and checked the lines. Because nothing was broken they DID NOT CHARGE me, which I appreciated.

We had a problem with the sink after they changed it and they rushed out to like clear it in like 2 seconds which shows great responsiveness.
