We were having Christmas at our home and I had a surgery and couldn't clean.  The owner came with the cleaning staff to be interviewed, We love them!

We will continue to use them until we can't afford it any longer.

They come every two weeks. 

We interviewed Merry Maids, but they were asking for over the top things. I am disabled and they expected me to move furniture before they came. 

I give Hillsborough an A! They gave me a reasonable price, I am very grateful for them, they have become my friends. They clean the whole house and I am happy, I could never do that myself. I would recommend them to anyone they would be totally satisfied. They are very understanding and will come when ever you need. They are a well rounded service.

The service overall was very poor. They did not put in the duvet covers, cabinets were not wiped. the bathrooms look like a sloppy job was done, there are stains all over my counter, they didn't even bother to vacuum my couch which all cleaning ladies prior to this have done. Overall I am terribly disappointed with this team and I will never use them again.

They are all franchised and are locally owned and operated. I liked the customer service in terms of how they set the whole process up but I don't particularly care for the service. The price is competitive and they were responsive, punctual and professional. They are not horrible but could improve.

Our first experience was great, they cleaned everything to tip top shape, it took longer than the normal 'regular' cleanings b/c they get everything as clean as possible and from there - maintain it. We turned on our bathroom light after they left and 3 bulbs exploded (literally). The lights were wet. We told them about this and they said they aren't supposed to use cleaner on the light bulbs just dust. Oops, eh? (not a BIG deal) They have a 49-Point Checklist but didn't do everything on it. I mentioned some things and forgot about others on a call. Hoped the next cleaning would be perfect but the items we 'didn't' mention, again were missed. This was my first experience with a cleaning company. I enjoy not having to do the work myself, but if I'm paying for it, I prefer to have it done the right way. Customer care was very polite and professional. Pros - very courteous staff, prompt and on time, confirmation call day before. We had to cancel and reschedule and they worked with us very well with this. I shopped around and they had the most reasonable pricing at the time. Cons - lack of communication/action between staff and person who comes to clean. * I have since stopped using this company b/c we are moving out of our place. If our new home is the same area with same customer care people, I would use them again. Else I would probably try another local company from this list. * Update* for months after cancelling their service I received calls about starting up again. I did not like that kind of desperate contact... Especially since I was not ready. Too pushy for me and has changed my view of them a little bit. I was asked many questions about when I was moving where I was moving etc... and with an almost disbelief that that was the real reason I was cancelling my future appts. Probably will not use this service in the future due to that.
