I do not have anything to compare to. This is the first time I have lived in a home with air ducts. I thought the cost was high when the tech was finished. It did not take more than an hour and a half. He carried a vacuum cleaner from room to room with a flexible vac hose and a circular brush on it. I don't know how deeply he could have been able to go into the duct work with what he had. When he was done he used an ordinary spray bottle with the disinfectant in it and told me to run the system on fan or half an hour to circulate the spray. I guess I thought the process would be more involved. I will try another company to compare next time. Maybe this was at it should be. I don't know.
