We called Rich to set up an appointment. We told him our make model and year. When the DVD players were in, he came to our house and installed them. His installation was thorough and professional. After two years, the DVD players stopped working. We called Rich as the DVD players were still under warranty. We went to his location and he replaced the DVD players without question. Overall it was a positive experience. If I have any other needs I would call him first.

I connected with Rich by email and phone and scheduled service to be done in my driveway. Rich confirmed our appointment, arrived on time and did an excellent job setting up my portable Sirius device for use in 2 cars. He did a nice, neat and clean job of running wires and connections to the radio and mounting roof antennas. Price was as negotiated and fair and convenient. Would recommend and use again.

Emailed Rich to help me with a situation with my older aftermarket radio / satellite radio install in my 2008 Pilot. He contacted me right away with immediate suggested details on replacing potentially replacing the unit with a brand new one and suggested an appointment to come up to take a look at the install and discuss my options. He is completely mobile, and worked around my busy week day schedule to accommodate a Saturday morning appointment. Very convenient to have the service come to you rather than you have to drive to the service, especially driving from central jersey to north jersey! Rich was punctual with his appointment time and even sent me a text message when he was leaving. Upon arrival we discussed general logistics of what I was looking and what my problems with the existing install were and he took a look at the install and confirmed that the best solution to have a fully operational unit was to replace it with a newer model and suggested Pioneer unit, with all new components(satellite, camera, stereo). There was never any pressure to up-sell or oversell anything in fact suggested an alternate model but still went with the top of the line since I was already investing money into the install and was hoping the install would be done professionally and accurately. He provided me a verbal estimate on the spot and I accepted the work proposal as it was quite fair and competitive in price. We then scheduled the following Saturday morning to do the installation after he acquired the parts needed and promptly arrived Saturday morning with all the parts needed and got right to work. Needless to say, thank you Rich for the work effort you completed on my car. The previous installer did a lot of unnecessary work for the previous install and some of the cables were even loose (which could explain why the stereo was malfunctioning) and took Rich a lot longer than anticipated to complete the job as he had to completey undo the previous job and redo the new job, but professionally and accurately did complete the job with a new unit that is completely functional. Very impressed indeed. In fact, even a follow up message after a few days to make sure things were still good. Most definitely one of the better experiences I have had with someone and will definitely keep him in mind for future jobs and highly recommend!

Rich and I traded emails to establish what I needed done. He asked great questions as to the equipment and expectations I had, then we set up an appointment. He was extremely flexible in that I needed to postpone by a few hours the appointment and I contacted him the day prior: he quickly determined switching appointment times with another client would actually benefit us both and worked to make that happen. That alone went a long way to informing me what kind of experience I was to have with Auto Connections: very positive!
He arrived right on time, and with some good-natured banter reestablished what my expectations were and then got right to work. I'm someone who tries not to hover, but I was interested in how things were going and Rich was very informative and even supportive of my asking questions.
Rich is quick, but not at the sacrifice of quality - My install went smooth, even when it was discovered 1) the wiring harness that was supposed to be included with my head unit was missing and 2) my sub was dry-rotted (it had been a long time!). Rich comes prepared, so he had the harness I needed, and as far as the sub goes, he went about the install as if he were dealing with a brand new speaker.
He was professional, courteous, and a genuinely good guy. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Upon reading positive reviews, I decide to call Rich at Auto connections. We scheduled an appointment and Rich came over to install the stereo system. I am very happy with the results. Rich has been excellent to work with - He is very responsive, offers practical advice and most importantly goes above and beyond to meet your needs. I had an amplified audio installed in my car that I had not told Rich about but he was happy to go the extra mile to make the system work. Even after the main work was done, he has remained highly committed to serving my needs. His pricing has been very fair and the fact that service is rendered at your home is a huge bonus. I strongly recommend Auto connections and will personally not hesitate to contact Rich should I require any other services.
