A-1 Chem Dry of Rockland County

Was not satisfied with the level of service.  I was originally quoted a 3 week turn around...at week 4 I called to ask when my rug would be returned.  I was put on hold for several minutes, then was told that the manager would call me back tomorrow!  The feeling they left me with was they had lost/damaged the rug.  They never called me back...Again, I called to find out what was happening and was not given any information.  They put me off for a 2nd time.  On my 3rd call, after I demanded to get an answer, I was told that they were short staffed and my rug was "drying".  A full month after the company had picked it up from my home. 
The rug was scheduled to be delivered on a Monday morning, between 9-10AM.  I took the morning off to wait for it's arrival...when they were a no-show by 11AM, I called and was informed by the manager Susan that since they are short staffed my rug unfortunately did not make the scheduled delivery.  After I explained that even tho I DO understand her dilemma, the fact that I did not receive a phone call to reschedule the delivery was completely unacceptable.  I was assured that my rug would arrive no later than 10AM the following morning.
Now, I have to say at 9:55AM the rug did arrive.  That was good.  What was NOT good was that the rug was thrown into a work van, laying on top of what appeared to be mop heads and carpet cleaning equipment.  Also, (and I almost feel bad for the delivery guy) I was asked to help carry the rug inside!  He had brought a hand-truck to lug it in on his own if need be...HOW exactly he planned on folding this big rug (without damaging it) onto a hand-truck is beyond comprehension.  Again, I feel bad complaining about having to help carry in my own carpet, considering I am an able bodied man, but this was not an inexpensive service I paid for.  They should have had their bases covered.

A-1 Chem-Dry Of Rockland County is great. They clean up after they are done and do not leave a mess. Their prices are good and the service is great. The people they hire are friendly. I like them a lot.

Chem Dry did an excellent job for me. I would be happy to use their services again for my carpet and upholstery cleaning needs. They proved that they were capable of doing good work at a reasonable price. That is the kind of company I was looking for.

THERE WAS A COUPON IN A MAILER. IT SAID FOUR ROOMS FOR $99. IT WAS VERY MISLEADING IN THE PRICE. I SHOULD HAVE JUST TOLD THEM TO FORGET IT, BUT I WAS DESPERATE.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE. THEIR PRICE WAS FAIR, AND I HAVE USED THEM MANY TIMES BEFORE. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THAT THEY DRY-CLEAN EVERYTHING. THAT WAY, I DON'T HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE CARPETS TO DRY. THEY DO A REALLY GOOD JOB.
