He wanted us to pay for an installation of a backsplash, the contract stated that they would install and complete a backsplash. He disagreed with this and stated that he never said that although it was clearly stated in the contract. The job took longer than expected and the contractor kept requesting more money. He walked off the job when the issues with the backsplash arose. He also stated the job would two weeks, he waited two weeks after the original start time to begin, he became aggravated that the job took too long. The cabinets are in, he did some painting, half of the moldings, and did a portion of our deck, siding was removed and is still missing. I believe he just cut his losses and just gave up.
