Floors by Val completely transformed our new home! The hardwood floors were in rough shape when we moved in, but Mike and his team performed absolute miracles. What looked like a lost cause now looks like showroom-quality flooring — rich, smooth, and beautifully restored. On top of that, they installed tile in our kitchen, and I have to say, the craftsmanship was flawless. Every tile was laid with precision, the grout lines are perfectly clean and consistent, and the whole space looks stunning. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. Mike, the owner, took the time to walk us through each step of the process with patience and clarity. He was incredibly thorough and made sure we felt confident and informed the entire way. His crew was punctual, clean, respectful, and highly professional. They treated our home with care and clearly take pride in their work. Not only did they exceed our expectations in quality, but they also delivered all this at a great price.

Previously, I had multiple bad experiences with contractors—asking for additional compensation after being hired, failing to complete work on time, and delivering poor finishes. So, when it came time to hire someone for painting and floor finishing, I was extremely stressed. However, Floor by Val completely changed my view of contractors. Michael showed up on time for the quote appointment, measured the house accurately, and promptly provided a clear estimate. From that point on, everything went smoothly, and all the work was completed exactly as explained. Michael responded to my emails promptly, and his crew was courteous and took the time to explain everything in detail. When an issue arose, they clearly explained the situation and offered practical solutions. Although the price was slightly higher than other contractors I had considered, it was absolutely worth it. Michael transformed my new house into something truly beautiful. I highly recommend Michael and Floor by Val.

Michael and his team at Floors by Val are fantastic! Our hardwood floors were in really bad shape with stains and holes, and I thought replacement was the only option. But Michael assured us they could be refinished, and we're so glad we trusted him. Val not only refinished the floors beautifully, but also replaced some panels and added quarter round to the molding. The results are amazing, and we couldn't be happier with the incredible transformation!

Floors by VAL just completed a renovation of our kitchen tile floor. Mike was extremely professional and responsive. We had a major issue with our subfloor that needed correction before installation of new tiles and we felt very comfortable with Mike's expertise and recommendations. The work crew was great at protecting everything from dust and leaving the site clean. I'm very pleased with the way my floors turned out. I would definitely hire VAL again for any future projects!

We had very dark floors when we purchased the house, Mike and his team were able to get the lighter look we wanted after refinishing them. Mike was very responsive throughout the entire process and I would recommend him for your flooring jobs.

Extremely professional. The quality of work is top notch.. My home looks so beautiful. Michael the owner actualky suggested my floor and I'm so happy I listened to him he was always a phone call away. His workers are artist as far as I'm concerned. They paid attention to even the most minor detail. My husband, who was a carpenter was even impressed. ( so much so that we are hiring them again for another job)

Floors by Val provided exceptional services with high quality results. I recently had them refinish my hard wood floors and continue my wood floor through the kitchen. It came out better than I could have imagined! The transition between the new floor and old flooring was absolutely seamless . The refinishing of the floors was incredible they look brand new. We had some stains in mind and the grid they provided us really helped narrow down the options. I couldn't have ask for a better experience. Floors by Val team exceeded all my expectations! My husband and I bought a house that needed the floors to be refinished. I was nervous about picking a stain that I would not like and would be stuck with. Michael spent time explaining to me how stains last and the type of stains that could go towards the orange color I was trying to avoid. He sent me pictures and was very helpful in the process of picking a stain and finish. While Michael and his team were working, they noticed some areas that still had carpet and staples (which were supposed to be removed by our General Contractor, but did not do a great job), and he volunteered to remove it, and was happy to do it! Once all the work was done, my husband and I checked to see how everything looked and we loved it!!! Everything looked so fresh and the stain we selected (weathered oak) looked stunning! I love how everything blended in so well and the stain looked so natural. The team did an AMAZING JOB!!! While you want the team to do an amazing job with the actual job of refinishing, you also want to work with someone that communicates well and cares about the job. This is another area that Michael goes above and beyond. I cannot believe how easy it was to relay information and get a response back!! Michael returned my calls and texts in record time. Michael is not someone that is going into the job just for a paycheck. He cares about his clients and truly wants to see them happy at the end of the project. He even stayed back to give us information on cleaning, and things to avoid to keep the floors looking fresh. My husband and I got so lucky finding Floors by Val!! My new floor is beautiful! Prior to calling VAL, the laundry room floor was a disaster! Now after calling VAL, speaking with Michael the owner and having his very professional and talented installer put in the new floor, itâ s like a brand new room. I am beyond happy with it. From start to finish a very pleasant, professional job experience. Donâ t call anyone but VAL !
