24 Hour Fitness USA Inc - Hasbrouck Heights

It's pretty much top-notch. There's nothing really wrong with it. Everything I need was there as far as fitness goes, but their price was quite high.

When I first signed up to 24hr fitness at around 70 a month the place was very nice and my workouts were excellent, I really enjoyed going there, only because I had bad experience at other clubs like, Bally's where they were overcrowded to the point I couldn't workout easily.   I had no problems obtaining a locker, getting on equipment, finding a parking space, etc.  then  they started lowering the price structure , I know it went down to around 25-30 per month, then thousands of people signed up and they just kept on sigining them up, first I noticed that I couldn't get a locker so i stopped attempting to get one, then machines were so saturated that I have to wait a long time to get one one,  now you can't find a parking space.  I feel like a made a big mistake prepaying a couple of years, because now I won't go there anymore, its so frustrating and overcrowded with people it actually disgusts me,  I even complained to the management about capping the enrollment and they basically just laughed at me.  this is just another example of corporate greed, they don't care about you and your workout, they just love the money that is flowing in.  I know of clubs in the area that charge 50 and up a month which naturally keeps the enrollment low  and respectable and I go to that kind of place now, the only reason I went to 24 hr in the first place was that it was 2 blocks from my home, now I drive about 5 miles to workout in peace. my advice is that if you don't mind ovecrowed gyms then 24hr might be good for you, they have  excellent equipment and facilities and very good personal training. In the end you get what you pay for, I just wish they never sold out and went for the money in lieu of quality.

They are great. I've been with them about a year but I've had some medical problems lately. I really like the gym. They are a chain. I pay $60 a month and there was an initial membership fee, but it wasn't bad. I had my membership frozen for about six months and it was about $7 a month. They have a pool and all kinds of exercise classes. They have an enormous amount of machines. They have weight machines, big huge basketball courts and racquetball courts. They have a sauna and steam room. They have showers and towels. They offer personal trainers at an extra fee. It is really a good gym. They offer spin classes. They are always there and they are always open. They are very service conscious. I can use my membership at any of their facilities in other states; it is interchangeable.
