RICK ALLEN'S AUTO REPAIR

I got my car to Rick's as he opened at 7 am. He diagnosed the problem, repaired it, and had me on the road by 9 at a very reasonable price. I've always had good service and been impressed by the professionalism, courtesy, and quality of their work. They stand behind their repairs and genuinely care about their customers.

My Honda Crv A/C was working sporadically. I had already recharged it. No change. Research indicated that condenser failure on these vehicles is common. Rick's was great. They advised me on ways to keep the cost down. Fixed it in one day. Cost with an Angies list coupon was under $1000, which is about what I expected. Really nice staff!

This was our first time using this shop and I am so glad we did. Our former go-to tire service retired so we were looking for a new one and I think we found it. Scheduling was easy and friendly, very informative about our tire situation and needs, and people in the shop including the owner were extremely friendly. Thank you Rick Allen' Auto Repair.

Rick Allen was extremely responsive and accommodating as we only had a short window of time to get the car inspected and any needed repairs made.  He took my original call and discussed different options for having the car looked at.  He took the car in the next day and was incredibly detailed in his evaluation. He certainly spent far more time looking at the car than he charged me for. His report was thorough and he took the time to explain his findings so we could determine the seriousness of the issues he found and the priority of whether or not to repair them now. He ordered the necessary parts and installed everything the next day. Rick was honest, professional and personable.  In 30+ years of dealing with car repairs this is as good an experience as I have had.  Even though I live 40 minutes away I would consider making the trip anytime I had a car issue that I needed an honest, knowledgeable, customer-oriented mechanic.  For those of you who live closer I can't imagine you'll find a better repair shop.

They were very flexible and trustworthy.  You can drop your car on off-hours and pick it up.   They are open early and late so you can easily get your car and pick up...most importantly though they are very trustworthy.  They would always give you suggestions for what they would recommend and what would be future things or what would be held in the car but not necessarily that important.  They will give you a list of things...here are the things that are priority... here are the things that you could do if you wanted too but not super important.  They are really on us...trying not to be pushy...things that are necessary.

r Service went fine - I have my family take all their vehicles to Rick Allen's - I find that the mechanics provide honest appraisals re services needed - I had rock chips on windsheild and was asking about a dealer they knew - mechanic suggested I contact my insurance Comp first - I did and saved @140K - another time I had a crack in my windsheild - asked again for a dealer - the one they suggested offered the same servies for $100 less than I could find
Had some older cars that needed work - mechanic spoke me out of unecessary repairs due to cars anticipated useful lifespan -
lastly - had been going to dealership for servicing before - tech told me  I needed rear brake replacement and new cat converter - costing around $3000 +
Went over to Ricks - he adusted rear brakes - advised me to use a cat cleaner from a local auto store and replaced a O2 sensor - about $500 -  and everything is working great with  no engine lights - looking forward to an uneventful DMV inspection soon
Best of all - Ricks service center is clean and well taken care of - shows pride in what they do

I was pleased with the service.  The facility was large and easily accessible.  The waiting room was clean and comfortable.  it is a family owned business with the owners present and active in running the business.  Nice people.  Up to date on technology for servicing cars.  The job was performed competently and in a timely manner.

What I like about them is that they are honest and they don't charge me for things that don't need to be done for my car. They do the job well.

They were courteous, efficient, and professional.? I feel confident in the work that they did.??? In the safety check they alerted me to the fact that I needed to replace my tires, which I have done.

Rick's is a fantastic establishment. They are very professional and flexible to help you with your auto problems. This is the second time that I have used them, and I will absolutely use them again. My check emissions light on my Acura turned on, and they quickly diagnosed the problem in 30-45 minutes. They were quick to order and receive the necessary parts, and were able to complete the job the next day. They were also flexible with the pick-up and drop off times allowing for off-time scheduling. They also provide detailed descriptions and recommendations for work to perform on your car, but they do not pressure you into anything unnecessary. Overall a great experience. Mike provided great service, and was very easy to work with.

They did extremely well and evaluated the best option for the engine of the car. They explained the benefits and drawbacks of the different options available to me. They are honest and does good quality work. They do not just do one thing that you may ask about but will take a look at the whole picture and let you know if there are other concerns. But they never pressure me. I trust them completely.
