8 years later I had 5 major roof leaks and damaged living room ceiling

Great except the gutter people put the gutters on the wrong house. Lucky for those people They then came and did our house. Both houses were numbered703 All in a days work I guess.

They did a wonderful job and cleaned up the area around our shed.

Better than expected. I did have them make a couple small corrections but these were done quickly. The area around my home was left cleaner than I could imagine. They followed up to make sure everything was okay. I am very pleased!

Our overall experience was mediocre at best. We scheduled the installation for October, and crews just never showed up. Later we were told that they called, couldn't leave a message, and that's why they didn't tell us that they weren't coming the day they had scheduled. They didn't try calling back at all, or emailing, or texting or anything else. One call, no message, and then we sat waiting, having taking a day off of work, while no one showed up. What we were sold in the estimate isn't quite what we received in reality. We were told the whole house would be tented and the estimator specifically mentioned avoiding damage to the new deck. However, workers only covered a small part of the deck, tracking dirt and debris all over the rest, leaving deep scratches in the wood, and using boards that had been staged, but hadn't been screwed in yet, as weights to keep tarps down. There were shingle-pieces and nails embedded in lots of the spaces between the deck boards, as well as boot marks, dirt and debris. The deck was still being built and had not been stained yet. As far as cleanup is concerned, we were told that the crew would be "in and out in a single day," but the dumpster sat outside our house for five days, including one day before the job, and four days after, taking up most of our street parking space. In addition, we were told that cleanup crews would go around with magnets and clean up nails and other debris, but large nails were left *in the driveway* -- maybe the most damaging place they could be left. The driveway had been cleared of cars, so it would have been pretty difficult to miss the nails.

ECC did an awesome job, from start to finish. Mike was punctual, clear, and responsive throughout the process. The work was done according to plan. The laborers were tidy and professional. The job was postponed by myself because of weather. I opted to wait 4 months during the Winter even though I gave ECC a deposit. As soon as the weather broke I called and scheduled the job.They did the job as promised with very skilled workers. The whole job was completed in one day including outside cleanup. They installed an attic fan that needed to be replaced which is being handled as I write this review. The owner was on site during the installation which was a  was a nice touch. I admitt I was skepitical because I was not familiar with ECC but they made me a believer!

I hired ECC after getting three estimates for a new roof. I appreciated how the owner Jim, and one of his employees, did a careful examination of my old roof, and then was able to give me his estimate a few minutes later.  The presentation was good with a fair price offered.
Working with this company was easy. The office staff were very responsive and the company honored several of my requests for when the the roof and then the gutters would be replaced.   
The workers arrived early in the morning (on time) to do the roof which included stripping off the existing shingles. They were done by late afternoon and my property was left very clean. There was a dumpster (where the old shingles were placed) in my driveway for a few days afterwards, but that was not an issue for me. The crew that worked on my roof were all very polite, seemed to be experienced and they worked well together as a team. I came and went during the day doing errands, and whenever I was at home they were working and I never saw them take a break.
The day the roof was done, I asked the owner Jim for some time to do some painting before the gutters went up. He was very cooperative with this request and the gutters were put up eventually once I finished my painting. Again, the company was very responsive to scheduling the gutter work at a time when I could be at home to meet with the workers.
I am very happy with the quality of my new roof and gutters, and the price that I paid for this work. I would hire this company again and have recommended ECC to several friends and coworkers who may replace their roofs in the near future.
