Allen's was recommended by a friend whom I trust. They are a large company, probably one of the biggest in the area. My only suggestion is that they use a little softer touch with new customers. I felt a little like they were doing me a favor. Being new to propane, I had some questions and felt my questions were taken less than seriously. The installer also neglected to change the generator from "natural gas" to "LP" and they tried to say that was not their job and resented having to return to change, where my electrician was stuck being paid by the hour to wait for the return. This issue was not handled professionally and being a consumer, I was stuck in the middle. I understand they have installed many many of these recently (I was told this many times by them) but it's the first and hopefully only time for me.
