Campbell Electric Company

This was a father-son team that I called to come for an emergency electric issue. A tree had fallen on the wires outside of my house and I needed a new meter as well as some indoor electrical work done including an upgraded breaker box. After their initial estimate, they stated that they required half payment upfront and half upon completion. I gave them $750 cash that day with the promise of services to be performed asap. After that payment, 2 months passes and they disappeared. I had to hire a new electrician to perform the needed services. I can't get them on the phone, I've called dozens of times. I finally had to threaten taking them to court and they actually responded "go ahead". I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Complete scam artists.

So I hired this joker about 2 years ago to wire a bathroom I was doing for a customer of mine. He came with his son and put a gfci box and two wires for the double vanity lights. He pulled permit and I paid him $1000 up front. He wouldn’t come finish. I waited over a month for him and he wouldn’t come. I had to hire a different electrician and pull a different permit. He agreed to pay me back half $500. He has yet to pay me back one cent although he should be paying me back $1000. **** bag don’t hire. I lost $1500 on this job. Retire old man.

Repeated attempts to rectify the problem and/or collect a refund were unsuccessful and met with an unprofessional response. This service provider was paid for a job never performed

He came promptly and was very neat and efficient. We were very pleased.

Campbell Electric is a father and son team: Larry and Lawrence, respectively. I actually saw their sign in a neighbor's yard, stopped at the home, got out and introduced myself to Larry very briefly. Shortly after this, they came out to my home and gave me an estimate for the work. They took the time to listen to me and offered ideas and suggestions in a calm, relaxed manner. Then they gave me a written estimate for the work with no pressure and no charge. Several months later I called to make an appointment and Larry remembered me. They called in the morning and arrived at the appointed time after picking up the fan. This is a 1920's home with old, old 2 prong outlets, so the work was challenging to say the least. They were friendly in a professional manner and honored the previous estimate. I will definitely hire them again. (Larry does smoke, but only outside).
