Computer Repair
My computer was infiltrated by several viruses. John took as much time as needed to trace them to the source and take corrective action to get rid of them. He was professional, knowledgable, and totally focused on fixing my problem to my satisfaction. I had no problem with punctuality because he was more than thorough when he arrived to do my job, so I would imagine that he is the same with the customer/s who preceeded me. I'd rather have the job done right than to have someone stick to a time schedule. I was more than satisfied with the service that was provided and would definitely recommend him.

Computer Repair
The PC and the laptop were picked up on a Friday and returned the following Monday evening. The promised day was to be Saturday but the technician (owner) ran into some issues that could not be resesolved in time for the Saturday return and Sunday was Mother's Day. The bottom line is that both devices are running at a much faster speed which is in line with my expectations. I had to call him on Monday to determine when he would be returning the devices. The business is primarily directed to a commercial lientele, but he stated to me that he intended to pursue more personal-type business.

Computer Repair
My computer hard drive died in the middle of the night and I discovered that my backup hard drive was not connected. Whoops! There was stuff on the computer that I needed for work. I called John Marchesani at Desegno Systems, Inc. as he had one very good review on Angie's List. John diagnosed the problem as a dead hard drive and tried to recover what was recoverable from it. He also recommended that I buy a replacement hard drive (which I did from Amazon). He installed the new hard drive and my Windows 7 operating system, and got what he could from the older hard drive. He worked on my computer off and on for about a week.
Very professional.
Very reasonable.
John made several recommendations as to what I should prudently be doing to back up my work.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the work done and the very reasonable price.

Computer Repair
(#1 of 3). It went very well (HOWEVER - see #s 2 & 3).. John did an amazing job of diagnosing and repairing the problems with my old computer and I was extremely pleased.
(#2 of 3) It went very badly. John started the website design project, but failed to move forward with it. He missed my initial deadline, then subsequent deadlines, including my "drop-dead" deadline. He just became too busy with other clients; he apparently considered my project as not sufficiently important he and did not proceed with it. Although I still felt that John was excellent with computer problem diagnosis/repair, regarding this project, he was EXTREMELY unreliable.
(#3 of 3) It went horribly. I sincerely regret ever involving John in transitioning to a new computer and I would never again utilize his services in any capacity. He seemed not to know what he was doing at all, spending several weeks to perform tasks that should only have taken a few hours. He subsequently related that he was not very familiar with Windows 8 (as of this writing, Windows 10 is now available) - if he had told me this from the outset, I would NEVER have arranged to have him set up my new computer and transfer files/e-mails from the old one (I would have had this done at Best Buy, where I bought it, AND it would have been done much faster/sooner AND properly). Further, John misadvised me about which software package to buy and I had to separately purchase Outlook, which cost me $40 more. Also, after 5 months and many, many e-mails, including multiple date promises and repeated failure to follow through John still has not fully copied the e-mail address book from my old computer.
