They told us they would pull all permits. They never did and after we pulled the permits and the work was inspected by the township it did not pass. They would not come back to bring the work up to code. They used substandard materials for the job. When they were not paid in full they started calling our place of business demanding payment. We did pay them in full to just make them go away and then got a contractor that was willing to follow the law. At the end they told us he was just a handman.

I was getting ready to move and things kept disappearing. They must have taken $1000 worth of stuff. When I accused him, he said "Oh, I thought you were going to throw these out!" He said he'd bring them back, but he never did. When I confronted him again, he said that I gave it to him. They steal from senior citizens. I reported them to police.

We have used Bright Star multiple times for multiple things. Lee does estimates on Saturdays, and is very prompt. He does high quality work. The helpers he has had have also been high quality. The price is generally a bit high (I think - I don't always get a second quote when I use him) but the quality is worth it.
