"We are so sorry to hear that [member name removed] had a bad experience with our company. She insinuated in her review that we are dishonest. That could not be any further from the truth! In fact we pride ourselves for our good reputation, especially for our honesty. Michael arrived at her home on January 15, 2014 for a service call because her Kenmore water softener was not working. He explained to her that: 1. We don’t carry parts for this particular model. They would need to be specially ordered from Sears. 2. The water softener tank had no salt in it. A water softener does not work without salt in it. We cannot test to see if working properly unless there is salt in it and normally it has to be running for at least two weeks with salt in it to see if working properly. Our company does not deliver salt, that is the homeowners’ responsibility. 3. Michael suggested that she put salt in it. He also suggested that she try to search the internet to see if she can find the manual for it. 4. She was given a quote of $ 1740.00 (in case she was interested) for a new water softener because the one she currently has is undersized. When a water softener is too small, it will frequently run out of soft water, will reduce water pressure in the home, will require more service and have a reduced service life. 5. Michael performed a basic water test at the time which of course showed that the water was very hard. [member name removed] insinuated in her review that he lied about that! Of course it was hard, the water softener was not working. That’s the reason she called us. 6. We did not collect any money from her at the time of service and was told that we would be sending a bill for our time, professional consultation and basic water test. She was billed two weeks later at a discounted rate of $ 59.00 plus tax, however she failed to mention in her review that to date we have still not received payment. It’s really quite unfortunate that what she understood and what we tried to relay to her are two different things. We hope that this clears things up. We certainly don’t like unhappy customers, that is not our intent. We always strive to provide our customers honest and exceptional service, accurate and quality work at a very fair price."
