Description of Work: They moved me from Arlington Virginia to Denver Colorado. The representative that I originally spoke with made me feel comfortable and he seemed trustworthy. I received an estimate from him over the phone. He assured me that the estimate would only change by about $100 higher or lower . I had counted approximately 155 moving pieces when I spoke with him about the estimate. The final count of moving pieces ended up being 195. When the mover arrived he would not let me take several peicesof furniture. They charged me 130.4% more than their estimate. The movers were suppose to get to my home at 10am. When they did not show up by 11 am, I called them to see what the hold up was. They said the driver got tied up on the Jersey turnpike and was not going to be there until 2pm. When they arrived I notice they were being careless while wrapping my belongings. I asked if they had received training in packing. They said no and damaged much of my furniture from using tape in properly. The movers were rude and nasty during the entire process. We did not get done packing until 8:30pm. They told me that my pieces would be there no later than July 7th. They showed up on July 11, 2011. When the truck mover showed up in Denver he wanted cash for the move. They threw stuff off of the truck. Many of it was broken and three boxes of valuable property was missing. One of the boxes contained an heirloom quilt that was given to me by my great grandmother. A geo amethyst that I had wrapped securely in pillows was also broken from their carelessness. Both are something that could never be replaced. When they unloaded everything it was dumped every which way. The driver stayed in the truck the whole time. He off loaded everything and did not even check off the amount of boxes that were taken off the truck to make sure that the amount of boxes were the same as that went on to the truck in Virginia. I am very unhappy with this company.
