GENERAL SEWER AND VIDEO SERVICES

Technician arrived on time. He worked the issue for about 90 minutes then gave up. He said without an accessible clean-out he could not go any further. Issues were that he splattered sewage all over my washing machine and didn't bother to wipe it up. He also broke the laundry sink trap but he did warn me that might happen. I'm concerned with the value of this company. They never stated their rates when I booked the service. $300 for less than 90 minutes of work seems excessive when they didn't even clean up after themselves. I won't use again.

Overall the service was good, however, there was never any indication of a service charge, which is usually automatic and most businesses will inform you about prior to beginning work, as well as how much per hour the job would cost. . The worker was dilligent and never stopped until the job was completed. which was a little under 2 hours. I was satisfied with his performance, but I would suggest that he keep his political views to himself when working at locations, because many people might not be as willingly to engage in an informed discussion without it becoming a volitile situation. Our discussion was quite lively but still civil.

We noticed the sewer pipe backing up and had to get a plumber in immediately.When this happened previously, we used a plumber who charged a high amount and we wanted to find someone to do the job for less money. We looked up various options on the internet and found a couple to call for an estimate who could also do the work that day. When we called this plumber, he quoted a price that was significantly less expensive than other quotes. He then came over quickly to do the job, as the sewer pipe was backing up and starting to flood the basement. He was friendly, polite and courteous throughout the whole process.

Although the work was completed and my toilet backup cleared, it was expensive, and took too long. The guy was a little too chatty. I may, however, be forced to use them again as it was difficult to get any plumber after 5 pm. The woman who answered the phone was professional, and kept me posted regarding his arrival, due to the shopping mall traffic in the area.
