I wanted to give more stars bc the work that was done was very good. However, there were issues w communicatio so I can provide a higher rating. The job took 4 days instead of 2 as they were short staffed. Peter who did the work (mainly alone) was great! the additional person who finally came to work with him, was complaining and tell the other I am not staying one more f'ing minute here." I was very uncomfortable hearing this. Then they did not include my small landing in the quote (which asked about PRIOR to the work being done) and was told not to worry about it that they would be able to do it. However, the quote for that area was mre than a larger bedroom. So I did not have it done. Finally, I have reached out more than once to have someone come back to look at some areas that need additional work. Although they answered they never came out so the repairs that were needed were not done. That was now about 5 mos ago and not for my not following up.

I had wooden flooring refinished by Floored at Home. Paul called me with quote and details to schedule after Jason measured the area. Jader and Marconea came on the day as scheduled. They moved out the furniture to the garage, did sanding on 1st and 2nd floor, showed me 4 stain samples to decide on the color. They stained the floor and stairs, finished work as per scheduled. The floor looked new and decent. Paul called me regularly to explain next steps and confirm timings. The process was done within the timeframe as explained, there was regular communication. The most important thing, the work was done professionally and final result was excellent. I was happy with the result. Thanks to Jader, Marconea, John, Paul and the whole team.

Paul was great to work with. Contacted us a couple of times during the project to see if there were any problems or questions. Peter and his crew refinished our hardwood floors beautifully!! They worked hard and were very professional to work with. They moved our furniture out into the rental truck and then back in. They were on time every day. Canâ t say enough good things about them. I would recommend them to everyone.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Workers were courteous, efficient and involved me in every step of the process to get my opinion. I needed a small wooden floor area repaired without having to redo the entire area. My repair area blended right into the original wood. After they finished; they left the area spotlessly clean and even reattached my broken sliding closet doors!! Glad I chose a slightly higher priced co to have it done flawlessly. Highly recommend.

They communicated very well. They explained everything to us. I was expecting some shoddy workmanship on the trim but everything was perfect. They even got areas that I didn't expect them to cover like between the heaters and around the door mouldings. Great job

I completely forgot to write a review immediately after my installation as I wanted to put this company behind me. I will start off by saying that Tom is amazing and without a doubt very hard working. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for the rest of the company. We bought a condo with old carpet flooring and wanted to get it replaced with engineered hardwood. During the job, I had to personally stay on top of the technician and manager as plywood and debris was scattered outside throughout the grass. I had to stay on the topic for a clean up, while also still having to clean more myself. Also gaps were left on the floor that I had to follow up to get filled in. While the transitions installed were created, they were not the wood that we originally wanted. Also technician installing the transitions and kitchen crown molding had an attitude with us as if we were wasting his time. I did not realize how unlevel the floors were prior to having the original carpet torn off. I feel if there was a manager on site at least once, this would have been explained and advised to add. We also noticed later that nothing was placed at our front door that goes from the wood floor up to the door, a front door transition. So there's nothing to keep the rain water from getting inside. At the end of the service, the technician was going to take the extra wood/crown molding/ etc., which seemed unusual as we paid for that (always buy an extra 10% of materials). I had to call the manager/owner to prevent this. Also when I asked for a possible time to do a walk-through at the end, I never got a response but was only told to pay the technician the check. Honestly I feel that 90% of the issues would have been cured or prevented had someone did a walk-through or even came on site at least once. For almost $24,000, you would think someone would show up. It is a shame because the wood itself is beautiful, however its also a product that we could get from another floor installer, right in the town close by us in Paramus, NJ (who did a wonderful job on our stairs, by the way).
