We had the pleasure of being able to connect with Christa through our Real Estate Agent as Christa was able to find us the best deal/situation out there. My wife and I were on the verge of giving up on the Housing Market for this year as we did not find the best deal for us when buying a house, and so as a last minute thing, our Real Estate Agent got us in contact with Christa and she was able to make the numbers so much better for us to the point we had saved so much money and then some by qualifying us both for a Conventional mortgage VS an FHA mortgage with an even LOWER down payment. Once numbers were ran and we agreed on the new deal, she was there step by step answering all of our questions. Being first home home buyers with a baby on the way, we could have used all the help, support, and patience we could get - and boy did we get that! She stayed on top of our deadlines and tasks, offered guidance and the cherry on top is she made us feel that human element throughout it all, as she hopped on every call with us no matter the day or time and helped us feel comfortable with our decisions. Towards closing, Christa showed us even more how much of a partner she truly was to us, and most importantly our loan was cleared for closing in only 12 days! I also wanted to mention, that throughout this process, we had the pleasure of also working with Patrik who was the such a kind person but also extremely resourceful. Well, let me start by saying, if you want to know what is the definition of customer service you should hire Brightwire Loans to process your loan/mortgage. I found Brightwire via yelp and I am glad I did. We just got married and were planning to get into the current crazy market of real estate for our first home purchase. The whole process of understanding your financials, paperwork , location, trying to find a lender or a real estate property in itself is an experience which is extremely stressful for most of us. But, when you have a team like Brightwire Loans doing all the legwork for you in addition to guiding you in the right direction, politely answering all your questions , always being courteous and super responsive to call you back (if they are ever busy with another client)always lovely to talk to over the phone), you can breathe a sigh of relief. Todd and team are by far one of the best teams of working professionals I have ever come across in my life. The sheer passion for their work and the extent to which they will go to make sure their clients are helped will not just match your expectations but will definitely surpass it. They have lazer focus on each and every client and they treated us as if we are their only clients in a market that has never been so busy ever before. My husband and I have refinanced now twice with Todd and his team. Obviously, the first time went very well, or of course we would not have used them again. But the 2nd time was even better and Todd went above and beyond to get our refinance done in under a month! We really wanted to combine our mortgage and our HELOC. The HELOC was a thorn in our side… we were stuck in it for another 27 years, at a high interest rate, and were only paying interest basically every month (barely making a dent in the principle every month). We needed a home appraisal to come in at a certain amount to have the numbers work to be able to combine both loans. When my husband and I weren’t sure if we wanted to pay for an appraisal, Todd took the risk & paid for our appraisal, and it came in at just what we needed! Bye, bye HELOC! No money down at closing, and Todd and his team were there every step of the way to answer questions for us. We are now saving money per month & the HELOC is gone. I could not be happier! I highly recommend Todd and his team! Super nice people & great at what they do!

The seller really wanted to close by a certain date which seemed impossible at first, but Todd pulled through and made it happen. He communicated very well with our realtor and attorney throughout the process, everyone worked great together overall as a team. Being a first time home buyer can be both stressful and scary, we had a million and one questions, we would call the office throughout the day, as the phone would ring on my end I would think to myself “they probably think we are so annoying”, but once they answered the phone they were very patient and tentative and made us feel extremely comfortable no matter how many times we had to call them. I am not a person who writes reviews but, Todd Harrington from Brightwire Loans LLC has become the exception and for very good reason, the service I have received from Todd and his team at Brightwire Loans has been nothing but exceptional. I first met Todd during the purchase of my home 6 years ago and I was skeptical about Todd because everything he offered sounded too good to be true, well, Todd earned my business and my respect because he delivered on everything he offered. One of the many things he delivered was with my Interest Rate, back then, all the other Loan Companies could not offer anything below 4.9%, Todd delivered on his word and got me 4.275%. Today I am extremely happy because a few weeks ago I gave Todd a call to talk about refinancing my home since I have been hearing about the Low Interest Rates. Todd and Patrik were the absolute best! Even after locking in, they were able to reduce our rate when the market rates went down. My husband and I are both teachers and after investigating all of the teacher specific programs, we found that Brightwire’s first-time homebuyer program had a much lower down payment, monthly payment, and closing cost. Todd and Patrik were available any time to answer questions that we had. Buying a house is very stressful and they made it so much easier on us. Todd even showed up to our closing, which made me feel so much more at ease. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Brightwire!

Pretty long review - but worth reading: About two years ago my husband came across Todd’s profile on Yelp. After reading other people’s positive review, we decided to give him a call for some guidance. Todd was extremely professional/polite and seemed pretty knowledgeable over the phone so we decided to meet with him in person to discuss further. He took the time to explain every single step when it came to purchasing a home, he discussed different type of mortgage loan options that were available among other items. After reviewing our personal information, he informed us that we had the income but the debt to income ratio was a bit high (we had credit card debts, car loan, and personal loan.) He suggested that since we weren’t in too much of a hurry instead of approving us for a high interest FHA loan we should just continue to save and lower our debt over the next year. We took his suggestion and did just that. A year later we returned and he re-accessed. He was happy to see that we paid off the car loan and reduced the credit card debt. However we still had a bit more to go – so we opted to continue saving/reducing debt and return back in another six months. This past April 2018 – we met again and this time we were approved for a higher loan! Yay! We were approved for a conventional loan with only 3% down!!!!! We immediately started the hunt for the right home which took 5 months due to the extremely competitive house market in Northern NJ. During this time we put offers in multiple homes and unfortunately lost them to other buyers. Each time Todd continue to advise us as to what to do, and how not to lose hope. Came July and we finally landed one! Everything was going well but then a week prior to schedule closing, the deal fell through. We were extremely devastated/defeated and truly felt like we should just give up because it looked like we’ll never find a home. Todd yet again continued to provide us with encouraging words and helped us lift our spirits. You can truly tell he cared and really wanted to make this dream happen for us. We took his advice and continued the search. A few days later we came across a home online and contacted out realtor to see if it was still available, luckily it was. Immediately after viewing the property we knew we found the one! (The previous home was nice but we were mostly just settling – now glad that the deal fell through.) That same evening we decided to place an offer and in less than 48 hours we heard back from seller with the news that they’ve accepted our offer! We contacted Todd to tell him the great news and get the ball rolling – Todd did just that. He provided us with a checklist, reached out to our lawyer/realtor/Insurance/Title Company on our behalf to make sure everyone was on their game and ready for closing in 30 days. (This is clearly another example of him going above and beyond.) He monitored regularly the market and recommended when the rates were good to lock in, he was also in constant communication with lender and underwriter to make sure we were all set. By him taking the time and being extra thorough, he managed to clear our loan for closing in just 22 days!! Recommending Todd is truly a no brainer for us. He will help/guide you when making potentially the biggest purchase of your life. When I say he is by your side the entire step of the way, I’m not kidding. He even made time to come to our closing just to make sure everything went smoothly. Todd was simply amazing. He explained everything clearly from the first conversation, put in a ton of time on our behalf which was unfortunately just before the election when rates shot up so we decided not to refinance at that time. Fast forward a couple of months, rates came down, and he was just as helpful and responsive. He offered us several loan options, all clear and in writing, and helped us choose which was the best option for us by offering us views from every angle. We were cleared to close in only 11 days, and he came to our house to close at a time convenient for us. It was as easy and stressfree as it could possibly have been.

My good friend recommended working with Todd Harrington through the buying process- especially since I was a first time home buyer. Todd was extremely receptive, timely with responses, friendly, and most importantly, very knowledgeable about the entire home buying process. We navigated through some pretty challenging circumstances with my employer and the title insurance company with what seemed like at ease. I was even abroad for a few weeks, and I'm so grateful that Todd worked around that. The best part of it all is that Todd was able to qualify me for a special first-time buyer program with NO PMI at only 10% down payment! Finally, it was very comforting when he joined me in person for my closing. I would highly recommend working with Todd because I have nothing but great things to say about my experience.

I want to preface this by saying that I am very picky and phone 10 lenders in order to find the best.  When I spoke to Todd, I felt as though he would be the best to deal with for our refinance.  Between him and Patrik they were extremely patient and knowledgeable.  I was not easy to deal with because I kept changing my mind between a 15 year and 20 year refinance, yet, both Todd and Patrik remained completely calm and they were both willing to speak to me and to send me many updated estimates.  Todd even called me while he was on vacation, even though, I let him know that my question was not urgent.  I have dealt with many lenders throughout my house purhases and I would highly recommend Todd, Patrick and Brightwire loans.
