 + 0 moreWe have two existing doors, trim around both doors and a window along with baseboard molding in our entry hall that are all in chestnut wood. We replaced our front door and hall window due to age. The window and interior of our front door now needed to look like they were they since the house was built back in the 1930's. We found Christine D'Angelo Studios through their website. Christine understood exactly what we were trying to achieve and we found her to be extremely easy to work with, We could not be happier with the final outcome! The finished product is near impossible to distinguish from the existing chestnut wood trim!
Description of Work: Christine D'Angelo Studios was contacted for a quote to faux paint the interior of a new, exterior door and new, replacement window to match the existing chestnut wood doors and trim within our entry hall. After the quote was received, Christine D'Angelo Studios scheduled an appointment to work out the process and colors required to mimic the existing trim and finish. A sample was work out and agreed to. Subsequent appointments were scheduled, once the weather cleared for the multi-layered process involved along with sealing the finish product to mimic the existing low-sheen shellac on the existing doors and trim.
