Home Building
Started out well and rapidly fell apart. Contractor has a great eye for architectural detail but very poor on timeliness, project management, communication with sub contractors, lack of regard and protection for other areas of your home (which he refers to as a construction site). Will work hard for your job but then "make it up" in the discovery and change orders. Very difficult to work with (acrimonious) and has a reputation for leaving the job incomplete - despite the terms of the contract. Have heard nightmare experiences from other clients and sub contractors. There are many other contractors who can provide good work and provide a better experience (e.g. Stoddard Associates- oh how I wish I would have gone with Gary Stoddard). Avoid McNamara Carpenters; very bad news.
