We gave them specific measurements to be cut and flamed edged. There were a few mistakes but i blame my self for not providing clearer directions. The bluestone hearth turned out great and the flamed/natural edges are perfect. We personally did the installation of the hearth. we have used them for many things over the years and also find they provide great service and a quality product
