low quality work: dug into the sprinkler system and didn't repair it properly, so we lost pressure but had huge water bills. They planted a shrub right in front of one of the sprinkler heads so consequently none of the other shrubs got water: we ended up having to transplant it ourselves. What exactly were we paying for? The area they added top soil to, and reseeded is barely keeping up; the grass is really struggling, despite doing well elsewhere. When some of the plants didn't survive the winter, we called back to get some replacements (since the initial cost includes possible replacements), and he first ignored us, then said that the plants don't need replacing, then yelled at my wife. We ended up having to approach another company to replace the plants. Unacceptable and totally unprofessional. Avoid.

Dom seems like a nice guy and was quick to evaluate my property for an estimate, which I appreciated.  This is when it became strange.  The actual estimate was not delivered until 9 days later (I left 2 messages to get the actual estimate), and it was lacking most details regarding the job at hand.  I became really annoyed when I was foolish enough to call to hire him, and did not receive any sort of response for 6 days.  In the meantime, I hired someone else to do the job.

While I can't comment on his work, I don't appreciate being treated poorly, especially when I'm trying to hire someone for a job.  To add salt to the wound, he took a paver so that he could find a match, and never bothered to return it.  Nothing personal here, just wished it was a better experience.

Showed up when promised. Did a nice job at a fair price.

Everything has gone well pretty consistently. Always impressed with responsiveness to calls and requests. Dominick returns calls promptly and has always been very happy to make things happen. Has been willing to work with us on prices when we define a budget.

Dom provided a prompt estimate and scheduled a date in an agreed upon time frame. In all our dealings he was either on time or ahead of schedule. Dom was onsite working and his men were very hardworkers who did not stop except for a short lunch break.
We had many estimates done and Dom was the most willing of anyone to listen carefully to our requirements and design a solution to fit our need and budget.
While on site he was careful to explain everything he was doing and asked for approval of the materials and for feedback on how the project was looking before it was completed.
During the project we asked Dom to expand the project and agreed on an adjusted rate on the spot.
Dom was eager to please, professional and someone I would welcome using again.

I moved into a house that had a walkway sided by Belgium block and filled with gravel. For ways of shoveling I wanted a paved walkway. Though the current pathway curved and necessarily defined the shape of the walkway, they did a fabulous job fitting a nice pattern in and it really came out lovely. Watching them work and seeing the finished project it was apparent that they clearly knew what they were doing and took pride in a job well done. Further more I found Dominique Mazza easy to work with in determining what exactly I wanted. He was flexible, professional and friendly. I highly recommend them.

I moved into a new home where the previous owners had neglected to care for the lawn for weeks. I spoke to neighbors regarding who they used and called three services for estimates. Mazza was the only one that even got returned my call. He was there that afternoon with an estimate and I spoke to him about some other landscaping that I'd like to have done. I said I'd give it a day or two to hear from the other people about the lawn. He dropped by a two days later to take measurments for the other job. Having not heard from the other lawn services, I asked him to go ahead and take care of it (the neighbors were in fact starting to complain). His men were there promptly and did a magnificent job. I was very pleased. I can't really compare the price as I never received other estimates. Some people I spoke with volunteered that they were and quot;expensiveand quot; but maybe that's because they do a better job.

THEY CHARGE $30 A WEEK. THEY RESPONDED VERY QUICKLY WHEN WE ASKED THEM NOT TO RAKE THE LEAVES BECAUSE WE COULD TAKE CARE OF IT OURSELVES. THEY ALWAYS COME ON A SCHEDULE. MY LAWN NEVER LOOKS SCRUFFY.
