During the course of the work, changes were made to the scope of the job in order to better accommodate the slopes of our property. Instead of bumping up the costs as contractors are know to do with changes, Carmine came up with designs that reduced our overall costs. What a surprise! What a pleasure to deal with!
"It was more efficient, and takes less time, which means a cost savings to you and I, to stage the leaves on the road temporarily that we blew off your front yard lawn for vacuum pick up instead of blowing all your leaves from the front yard to your backyard wooded area. The reason the leaves were staged there for a week is because it had snowed four inches the very next day and it took four days for the snow to melt and we were waiting for the leaves to dry so it would be easier to vacuum. The reason why your previous landscaper did not vacuum your leaves like we did is because he does not own a giant leaf vacuum. Even after we spoke on the phone and I made an considerable adjustment on your invoice you still did not remit the entire balance like you promised. Instead you claimed we committed turf damage and blew mulch out of your planting beds which was completely false and you never once mentioned this during our phone conversations and cowardly wrote it on your invoice. I honestly made every attempt to rectify this situation, explained to you my thought process on how we approached your clean up, I made a generous adjustment and omitted the leaf vacuum charge to your past due invoice, and you still did not pay in full and posted an erroneous review."
