All work was done quickly and efficiently. They also made small recommendations for some minor improvements which, we authorized them to do. We were very happy with the time it took for them to respond to our first call to the last day of work!

This job went very well- We have a 200 year old house and this is a flat tin roof drain repair. We have several contractors out who recommended less than optimal solutions. Dan knew what needed to be done as soon as he looked at the drain- it needed to be replaced and he knew how it needed to be repaired. He also recommended additional repairs on the tin roof and a paint to help preserve the tin roof. He was sensitive to the color of the paint for the tin roof and made sure we are aware it was in keeping with the historical colors. He was a pleasure to work with - I respected his suggestions because it was clear he wanted to make sure the job was done right- I highly recommend him-

Dan really knows his 'stuff' and is a true roofing expert who has the knowledge and ability to perform excellent work on tile and slate roofs. Unlike other roofers who claim to be slate and tile roofing experts, Dan installed the replacement tiles the 'correct' way, which is by using copper nails and a copper 'bib' squeezed tightly into place above the nail head and the tile above to prevent any water from penetrating. I had done a lot of research on the internet on the correct way to make repairs to clay tile roofs, and the 'copper nail and copper bib' method used by Dan is absolutely the correct method, in fact it is the only correct method. Other roofers who use bent strips of copper flashing to hold a replacement tile in place are not creating a lasting repair, as the heavy weight of snow on top of these repaired tiles will cause the tile to eventually give way and fall, as the bent strip of copper flashing is not strong enough to keep the tile in place. Below is an article on the correct way to replace missing or broken tile or slate: http://www.traditionalroofing.com/TR8_strap_hangers.html
Dan was extremely professional, prompt, easy to work with, and is very customer oriented. I was extremely happy with the work he did for me and will continue to use him for future roof work.
Also, Dan's willingness to take the time to find extra replacement tile for me that were very reasonable in cost that I could keep on hand for future repairs was a much appreciated service.

Very well mannered, very polite, and they were on time. I called a number of roofers and they didn't want to replace just the small section that was leaking, they wanted to replace the whole roof. These guys just replaced what needed to be replaced and didn't try to sell me on the whole house. I felt that they were quite honest.

Dan was very professional. He took a look at my roof while I was at work and called me right away to give me his opinion. Price was fair. He did the job with another individual and I thought they did a pretty good job.

I have known Dan many years. He is trustworthy, good to work with, and prices are competitive. He shows up on time and completes his work quickly. He did an entire roof on my old house and various repairs on my new house (both renovation projects in Main Line Philadelphia area). His work is top notch, both in asphalt or cedar. He is a true expert who can do the most complex cedar roofs, copper flashing and gutters, or the simplest asphalt roofs (like the tool shed he just completed). He's definitely a contractor you want to have on speed dial if you have trees around that could damage your roof.
