+ -1 moreIt took a few days as parts needed to be ordered, and of course, as luck would have it, the brand new compressor he installed failed as he backed the car out of the garage. This was discovered on the final check in the driveway. Knowing that I needed to make an appointment, Vinnie, the owner, found a rental car in 15 minutes, drove me across town, and even offered to pay for the rental. Imagine that. With the repairs complete a day or so later, I drove off with the car running as good as new, with a few minor inside-the-car repairs made free of charge. I could not be happier with the job Vinnie did. He was honest, forthcoming and did a great job explaining each step of the repair process. I wouldn't take my Land Rover anywhere else, even though there is a Land Rover repair shop several miles closer. Vinnie was THAT good.
Description of Work: After an extensive search on the Internet, I took my 2000 Land Rover Discovery to Rover Specialist, as my car was approaching its 100K milestone. I already knew there were issues with the suspension, cooling system and a few other small areas in the cockpit of the vehicle. There were quite a few Rovers parked on his lot, so getting the car looked at took a day or two. Once he did, Vinnie went over in detail what needed to be done to fix the problems with the car, as well as get it roadworthy for the next hundred thousand miles (hopefully). He replaced a failing compressor that was the case of my suspension problems, replaced tie rods, replaced an aging front drive shaft and found the cause of my leaky cooling system.
