I hired this company to build me a paved sitting area in my yard, and it is structurally not safe and instead of building me a flat area, they built a platform and they left me with a tripping hazard in the middle of my yard. They put cement all around the perimeter and the cement is not sticking to it is falling off and they claim that is how the work is done and how they have done it for other people, I asked for a picture to show that this is the work they have done for other people, but they have not sent anything. I would not recommend this company! This is update of previosu review yesterday. The company reached out to me and returned to fix the problem.

Vinny installed a 20 x 15 paver patio for me. Excellent workmanship, very responsive and personable throughout the entire process.

The project was to remove an old paver walkway and replace it.Vinny and crew did a great job beginning to end and I would not hesitate to use them again.

We hired pro one for a large bluestone patio job. It was 800 sf of bluestone, a 27 ft retaining wall and a 13 ft built-in grill area with a stone counter and wall. . First of all, I have never once taken the time to write a negative review for a contractor. With that said, I feel obligated to comment on the experience we had with this company. From day one, they tried to cut corners. It seemed like they had no plan. Whenever they were questioned about their procedures, they would make excuses for why they were overlooking certain aspects and that it would be fine. . For example, the day we poured the concrete base, they did not account for any slope, had no form, and laid the concrete on top of grass. This is simply not the way to form and pour a base for bluestone patio. Any mason knows this. Their craftsmanship is sloppy and my wife and I could not be more unhappy with the final product. We already have stones coming up, the joints are so sloppy, the stone veneer walls are covered with mortar. When asked why the joints and stone got uneven and sloppy, their answer was it is 800 sf and things get uneven bc it is so big. The stone wall was also installed incorrectly. You can see the block behind it in numerous spots throughout the wall. We constantly were asking them throughout the project to redo certain parts because the work was sloppy and completely unacceptable. They would rip stones and seemed to intentionally try to make things worse. When the project was 95% done, we gave them a punch list of things we wanted addressed, and Claudio answer was that he was unable to complete this bc there was no way he could make us happy. We ended up keeping the remaining balance ( about 7% of total project cost). It constantly felt like they tried to do things incorrectly and see if we would make them correct it. They used bluestone treads that were different colors and sizes, which we made them rip out 3 times. They ran low on stone veneers and tried using the scraps or large stones at the end. Which we again had to correct them on FOUR times. I would stay clear of this company. I work with contractors for a living, and would not want anyone else to experience what we did. It was a battle to get to the point that we did with them. It really has been a nightmare for me and my wife. Luckily I had a pretty detailed contract with them that allowed me to hold them accountable for certain aspects of the project. In the end,, we are currently looking for another company to come in and correct the mistakes of pro one. Not sure it is possible at this point but we plan to try.

Hired this contractor to waterproof the foundation and replace existing stairs. The contract specified the foundation would be waterproofed down to at least 5 feet. The workers dug down to 4.5 feet, then tried to convince me that they had dug more than 5 feet down. As if tape measurers do not exist. The supervisor had to come out. Eventually they dug down the remaining 6 inches and hit the concrete foundation. They also price gouged me, charging me $2,200 to replace a rotted piece of wood discovered during demo of the old stairs. I had to pay because the work was already underway and it was too late in the season to stop. Their workers also intentionally set my lawn on fire and were surprised when I was pissed off. I was glad to have the job done and them gone. Will not be using them again. All that being said, the stairs turned out well and so far no issues with waterproofing. Good work, bad service.

Pro one matched an estimate that I was given by another contractor but with better materials and quality. My front porch was corrected to pitch the water off the porch properly. The steps we’re torn down and replaced with limestone and brick was added to the front changing the look of my property. The stone work was better than I anticipated. It came out beautifully. Got many compliments from our neighbors. Vinny was up front with costs and timing. If I had any issues or concerns Vinny was very responsive. I plan on using them again to add more stone work to my home.

I commissioned two projects with this company, a stone patio job and a chimney replacement job. Both finished about a month ago. Let me first of all say that the quality of this construction team is solid. They certainly have the expertise to complete a complicated job; the workers are friendly and skilled. That being said, let me share some of the unpleasant aspect of dealing with this team. The sales aspect of the project was pushy and pricing was aggressive. I personally negotiated the price for the patio job and received an satisfactory price. The chimney job, however, was negotiated by my wife ( I was too busy that day). She was told the chimney was about to fall down, which I know was not the case, and not only pushed into signing a contract that exceeds 40% of the market price but also charged tax on this capital improvement project ( a common tactic used in the industry to ask for more money). I confronted the sales manager, he apologized to me but did not issue refund. In the future, I may choose to deal with this company again, but will approach with more caution.

Where do I begin? The initial assessment and estimate was incredibly reasonable. They work with you based on your budget and needs. They are insistent on meeting your concerns. During the job they were professional and courteous. If I could give them 6 stars I would.

Dan was very nice to deal with. There were unexpected costs that were not disclosed at the time of hiring which was disturbing and the workers were throwing their water bottles in the bushes and the side of the house. Lunch left overs were left out for the bears and I wound up cleaning after them. Aside from that, they did a beautiful job and we are happy with the final result.

I hired Pro One Construction to repair and install new front steps at my home. They were very clean, highly professional, and most important did an outstanding job. I highly recommend them.

The Contractor Pro One completed the project to pave my driveway, patio and sidewalk for my house. The job completed was excellent. Vinny and his crew are fantastic to work with. They know how to do the work properly. They took each paver and placed it in the ground making a nice looking pattern on the driveway. They worked the entire day and when we had questions, Vinny would answer us. Our driveway and patio look amazing. They made us steps for our patio and they worked very patiently in building out the steps. Owner/Foreman Vinnie is very reasonable to work with and provides smart advice. He explains things in a calm manner and sticks by his word. They listen and are honest in regards to why some ideas are good and some are bad when we ask them questions. If you want high quality work with reasonable price I would recommend Pro One Construction.

I hired Vinny and his guys to remove an existing slate patio, install new slate patio, and steps. The price was extremely reasonable, they were easy to work with and everything went smoothly. They also did a great job cleaning up which is often not the case with other companies. I am very happy with my beautiful patio! Would highly recommend Pro One Construction!
