Kol Marble and Granite

I had no problem with the Installer. My issue is with the manager Mohammend. On the day of installation I was told half way through that my sink was not going to fit! It was too large! I was told they would have to CUT through the sides of my cabinets to make it fit! I immediately got Mohammend on the phone who started off by telling me it was all MY fault and that I should have expected this to happen! After I reminded him that NO it was not my fault because I had brought to him blueprints and measurements of my kitchen, which he used for the amount of granite we would need and the size sink to be installed, his tune changed to how did I expect him to cover something like this. I told him I understood that this piece of granite, if I were to send it back, would be a hard sell and that perhaps I could settle for compensation and gave him an amount (I thought was more than fair) to which he flatly refused! After more arguing and nerves shattered I told him I was sending it back and hung up. This led to his calling the Installer and giving him the ok to cut the cabinets, put in the sink and to accept half of what I was asking (remember, I thought my full amount was a very fair to begin with). So after the cabinets are cut, and the new countertop is again brought in and put into place, the sink is ready to go in and.................. are you ready................ I am called in to the room and told.......... ITS THE WRONG SINK THAT WAS SENT OUT!!!! Yup, that’s right Mohammend’s Co. sent out the wrong sink to begin with! And tried to blame it on me! Would I recommend this Co.? NO. Want to know why? Because it has now been 1 week since installation and not one phone call from Mohammend offering an apology! They just cashed the check and are getting ready for the next fool to come along!

It went okay. It was a good company that did the work.
