BROTHERS LANDSCAPING

Originially when the job was done by Brothers, we couldn' t have been more pleased. About a month and a half after the work was done the pavers on the step fell off which created a hazard. We called Brad on his cell phone and he never called back so we called the office and told the office staff what happened and she got Brad to come out. He came and reglued a couple of the pavers that were off. It appeared there was not enough glue put on. When he was confronted with the question "why this happened" he said that "these things sometimes happen" We don't think that his workmanship should fail after a month. Not even "I am sorry for this, it shouldn't have happened." While he was here on that visit one of the pavers had broken (and don't know why) so we gave him one that we happened to have that was left over. He took it to cut and told us he would be back on Friday. He never showed up. Now it is Wednesday and after calls to him that were never returned, we called the office again and the office staff called him to see when he would be back and she said he said he was working on other jobs.....It is fine he is on a job making his money but he has our money and we are left with saw horses in front of our steps so no one gets hurt. ...we now know who we are dealing with....someone out to make money and not stand behind his work and his customers

The landscaper was punctual for our appointment and spent about a half day performing the contracted services.  Although I observed him, it was difficult to detect the dirt plugs from the aeration,  fertilizer & seeds.  I do not know how much of each he applied so in the future, I will inquire before contracting.  A few weeks later, I had a question about a certain "bald" area on the lawn, called Brothers & left a message.  They returned my call the next morning & sent a technician out the next morning to take a look at it.  He satisfactorily explained the issue.
I would hire them again but  would instruct them to only perform the aeration after a rain when the ground is softer.  Since we hadn't had rain in quite a while prior to this service, the ground was extremely hard and the aeration was not as successful as in the past.

Please see above. Originally, when I first contacted Brothers I talked with them in person at our house that since this is a corner lot to please make sure the side yard was completed as  well as the front. There did not seem to be a problem when I signed their contract.

They are local and right around the corner from me. They did the work in one day. I came home from work and they were done. They gave me three choices that they thought would be the best. I picked the forsythia and we agreed upon the price. It was all inclusive. They were excellent and I would definitely use them again.

Although the lawn mowing was completed weekly from early-Spring through the first couple of weeks in November, none of the other work for which I received proposals was completed. I am a slightly upset that lawn mowing was done into early November, even when it was no longer needed. (Admittedly, I should have called to stop the weekly service. However, I would have trusted the landscaper to stop mowing when the grass was no longer growing- my bad.) Even more so, however, I am angry that the requested leaf service was never completed. Initially, I received an estimate for Fall lawn seeding and leaf clean-up. When the seeding wasn't done, I called to change the requested work to Fall leaf clean-up for both my front and back yard lawns. The cost was to have been $395. After several weeks, I raked and removed the leaves from the back-yard. As a result, I called to amend the proposal for only the front lawn. They called to confirm that the new cost would be $200, for only the front lawn. Still, the agreed upon work was never done. After missing my township's final curb-side leaf pick-up, I raked and removed the leaves myself.

THEY DO A REALLY GOOD JOB. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY GAVE US A GOOD DEAL ON PRICE. THEY ALLOWED US TO PAY THEM IN INSTALLMENTS. THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY NICE. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
