Clothes Washer or Dryer Repair or Service
The repair technician, John, was EXCELLENT! Obviously, knew his stuff. Diagnosed my washing machine controls problem and ended up replacing the mother board. I would definitely recommend them.

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW!!!!!! DO NOT USE ABCO!!! DO NOT USE ABCO!!! DO NOT USE ABCO!!! DO NOT USE ABCO!!! ABCO Appliance was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I wish I could give you all the details about how HORRIBLE this place is, but I can't relive the nightmare from the last two months. LIARS, CON ARTISTS, FULL OF BS!!! DO NOT hire them or call them. You will regret it! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Denise could be the most unpleasant jerk I ever dealt with. I tried to keep nice and civil with her constant lies about shipping, lies about appointments, lies about LG service, lies about 3rd party extended warranty. When they did finally show up after 5 weeks of lies... the repair DID NOT WORK and then they delayed for another week and a half and finally told me that they won't work on LG products anymore and to go back to 3rd party warranty company to get someone else! A COMPLETE WASTE OF 2 MONTHS dealing with ABCO. THIS BUSINESS NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND FINED. Don't believe me?? Just google around and you will read many other reviews with the same story. DO NOT USE ABCO!!!

I called Frigidaire to utilize my warranty - they advised the soonest they could get a tech out would be in a few days (7-9-16, Saturday). The tech came and assessed the situation. He was polite and advised he would be getting the part early that week and my machine would be fixed by the end of the week (Friday 7-15-16). After hearing zero feedback, I placed 4 phone calls through 7-19-16 - leaving messages on an answering machine. This morning (7-20-16) I received an irate phone call from an unprofessional, rude, and hopefully temporary worker (Summer help maybe) who disputed that I left more than 1 message. Yes, you read that right, disputed my phone calls and attempted to speak over me. I could barely understand this uneducated "lady" and promptly ended the call. I then called Frigidaire to let them know that company was not coming back into my home and to schedule another sub. I now have to wait another week but I assure you it will be worth it by not experiencing this ever again. DO NOT USE ABCO -if any major company subs them out ask for someone else.

The vendor came out to my house to take a look at my stove and said they will have to order a part in order to fix it. After a week or so i called the shop and spoke with a rep who was very unprofessional and she gave me no notification how long the part would take to come in. A month and 10 days pass and they finally come out to work on the stove but while installing the new part they noticed it wouldn't fit, they ordered the wrong piece. I suggested they put the old part back on because even though the burner was not working properly i could still get a small flame. The technician did exactly that then looked at my gas for the stove, twisted a knob and the job was fixed completely. Its very frustrating to know that this issue could've been resolved easily without them making me wait over a month.

I finally got ahold of them and they were telling me that it was going to take up to two months. I told them that wasn't satisfactory. They finally came back and took a piece off the stove and a $200 deposit to get it fixed. I haven't heard back from them since. This has gone on way too long.

I originally called Jersey Coast Repairs in Toms River, NJ. I was told it would be about $85 for the service call (just to look). If he did the repair, the $85 would go toward the repair, and I would pay the difference if any, for parts and labor. I explained that the problem was most likely a door that was out of alignment. I asked if that were the case, what be be the approximate cost of the repair, since alignment is a relatively simple task and does not require any parts. I was told it would cost around $275 to re-align the door! (plus parts, if any). This seemed quite high to me for a door adjustment, and I said so. She said it was not such an easy task and takes a long time. Didn't make sense to me, but I needed the door to close.
I then called Abco, the only other repair service close by authorized, besides Jersey Coast, to service my Frigidaire refrigerator. I explained the same thing - door does not close, likely needs adjustment to realign the door. The service call would be $68, which would go toward parts/labor for the repair if I elected to do it. I chose Abco.
The serviceman came on time, verified it was an alignment issue, realigned the door, and charged me the service call of $68, not a penny more. What a difference in price!!!!
Both companies could use a little in-service training for their phone personnel. No one was particularly rude, but it was rather uninviting to a new customer to hear less-than-professional phone service. Gum cracking, papers rustling, distracted voices, etc. I got the feeling from each place that if I asked too many questions, they would just hang up or get patronizing. I'd stay away from Jersey Coast. Abco was great - but they ought to improve their customer service.

Bosh oven would not heat up and bake as the burner would not come on. It appeared there was a problem with the ingnition and this was the case. The repairman showed up on time and was able to replace the ignitor in a few minutes.
