This company was contracted through an appliance warranty company . They came out for the service call and never called back. Spoke with the company customer service women who was rude and unprofessional. Repeatedly said she would call back and never did . After over three weeks with no information/ service from the company, I called the warranty company who sent out a more reliable , professional and trust worthy repair company. Do not waste your time with this repair company, horrible service and customer service . Would give it 0 stars if I could !!

Had to use them for a warranty claim on an appliance. While the actual worker was knowledgeable and good, the receptionist was one of the absolute worst people to work with. The guy who actually repaired it stated several things, which she later disagreed with. Instead of actually asking the guy or politely stating I was incorrect, she gave the worst attitude and proceeded to state that I was wrong, and how their guy would never say that. She got very defensive, and I found it funny because I wasn't stating anything ridiculous or offensive. He had stated that they would work outside of the 8 to 5 window to accommodate working hours. Either way, her attitude was absolutely atrocious. I am in the process of contacting the warranty company, because in the future I, NEVER, want to deal with them again. Also, it took over 2.5 weeks to fix my appliance, something I also think the warranty company will not be happy with, since they stated they want things fixed typically within a week period. Very Very Very terrible company due to the receptionist - DO NOT USE.

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW!!!!!! DO NOT USE ABCO!!! DO NOT USE ABCO!!! DO NOT USE ABCO!!! DO NOT USE ABCO!!! ABCO Appliance was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I wish I could give you all the details about how HORRIBLE this place is, but I can't relive the nightmare from the last two months. LIARS, CON ARTISTS, FULL OF BS!!! DO NOT hire them or call them. You will regret it! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Denise could be the most unpleasant jerk I ever dealt with. I tried to keep nice and civil with her constant lies about shipping, lies about appointments, lies about LG service, lies about 3rd party extended warranty. When they did finally show up after 5 weeks of lies... the repair DID NOT WORK and then they delayed for another week and a half and finally told me that they won't work on LG products anymore and to go back to 3rd party warranty company to get someone else! A COMPLETE WASTE OF 2 MONTHS dealing with ABCO. THIS BUSINESS NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND FINED. Don't believe me?? Just google around and you will read many other reviews with the same story. DO NOT USE ABCO!!!

they were assigned through a warranty company to repair a Jenn Air oven. They came out in July 2016 and ordered a part. It is now October and I still don't have a working oven. No show for appointments, rude woman in office. Zero customer service skills. Not sure how these people are in business?

I called Frigidaire to utilize my warranty - they advised the soonest they could get a tech out would be in a few days (7-9-16, Saturday). The tech came and assessed the situation. He was polite and advised he would be getting the part early that week and my machine would be fixed by the end of the week (Friday 7-15-16). After hearing zero feedback, I placed 4 phone calls through 7-19-16 - leaving messages on an answering machine. This morning (7-20-16) I received an irate phone call from an unprofessional, rude, and hopefully temporary worker (Summer help maybe) who disputed that I left more than 1 message. Yes, you read that right, disputed my phone calls and attempted to speak over me. I could barely understand this uneducated "lady" and promptly ended the call. I then called Frigidaire to let them know that company was not coming back into my home and to schedule another sub. I now have to wait another week but I assure you it will be worth it by not experiencing this ever again. DO NOT USE ABCO -if any major company subs them out ask for someone else.

The vendor came out to my house to take a look at my stove and said they will have to order a part in order to fix it. After a week or so i called the shop and spoke with a rep who was very unprofessional and she gave me no notification how long the part would take to come in. A month and 10 days pass and they finally come out to work on the stove but while installing the new part they noticed it wouldn't fit, they ordered the wrong piece. I suggested they put the old part back on because even though the burner was not working properly i could still get a small flame. The technician did exactly that then looked at my gas for the stove, twisted a knob and the job was fixed completely. Its very frustrating to know that this issue could've been resolved easily without them making me wait over a month.

***NOTHING**** STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY They don't care about you.  They are nasty, rude and  DON'T KEEP THEIR WORD.
Response from Abco Appliance Repair

"To address customer [Member Name Removed] [Member Name Removed] called for service 12/16/15 to complain his refrigerator had a temperature issue. The customer called on 12/18/15 and said he was to hear back from the technician 12/17 but did not and needed the refrigerator repaired. [Member Name Removed] called in and stated it was urgent that she get her refrigerator fixed because she was having 40 people for the holiday. [Member Name Removed] explained that [Member Name Removed] could not guarantee it because it was short timing but would do the best we can for her not to panic. Her interpretation of me being rude was because [Member Name Removed] was honest with her. [Member Name Removed] would never tell a customer we had bigger customers, and they did not matter to Abco. Abco did order the parts but was told by the distributor on 12/23 it was on backorder. Abco had every in tension on going out on the 23rd or even Christmas Eve morning g to repair the refrigerator if the part came in. Unfortunately, for Abco the customer gets to fabricate her version of the story to make Abco look bad and the company suffers from it. We hoperate that customers get to review our response and use their own judgement in using Abco Appliance."

Business refused to provide a quote without sending someone out.  But there was no point to sending someone out as the job was defined in advance (labor to replace door gasket, plus cost of the new gasket).  All that sending someone out in advance accomplishes is to raise the cost of the job by 59.95 + tax.

Response from Abco Appliance Repair

"Not sure what happen here but hard to give quote without seeing product so how is this a review on our company if we were never at this job"

I had called Frigidaire regarding my fridge not cooling. They referred me to ABCO. I had never heard of them before and took the advice of Frigidaire. I called ABCO and an extremely rude and brazen woman responded on the phone and got upset on receiving the phone call. She had no desire to provide any service. I called on 07/11/14. After realizing that the tri-state area is going through a rough hear wave, she decided to send her technician on Saturday 07/12/14. Joseph the technician showed up and assessed the situation and advised that a new fan motor is needed to get the cooling reinstated.
I provided over 50% deposit and I was advised by Joseph that he can order the part on Saturday 07/12 and I should call the office on Monday to get an appointment and he can get my fridge back up and running in no time. He also advised me that there is a 1-year guarantee on the work he will do.
After he left, I called ABCO main line and encountered a long vmail message with the same rude woman. I left a message on Saturday. Called back on Monday a few times, left more messages on Monday and still no response. Finally on Monday the woman picked up, totally irked and screaming. She totally negated what Joseph had advised me on the part, delivery and timing. She hung up without advising me on the scheduling of the defective part.
Since 07/12/14, I have called over a dozen times, left vmail messages and the woman (the scheduler) does not respond nor cares to call back on the defective part's delivery and the fact they charged me the money and have not delivered the promised services.
I would never recommend anyone to try this horrible service and go through a bad experience. For the past 10 days, I have no fridge and cannot keep any food at home.
I have advised Frigidaire on ABCO's unprofessional service and they were shocked. My building advised me to leverage Sears and other agencies but I went by the recommendation of the appliance company. A big mistake. I hope the owner of ABCO reads this message and gets this issue resolved and replaces his rude scheduler.

I finally got ahold of them and they were telling me that it was going to take up to two months. I told them that wasn't satisfactory. They finally came back and took a piece off the stove and a $200 deposit to get it fixed. I haven't heard back from them since. This has gone on way too long.

Service Tech dispatched to repair Frigidaire refrigerator under an extended warranty on June 18, 2013. Refrigerator is freezing foods in the fresh food areas. Tech looked inside the refrigerator and said "this is what happens." His attitude was what's the big deal -- that I should expect things to freeze. He then read the extended warranty contract. He stated he was going to order two sensors, one or both of which he would install depending upon what he found when he returned with the parts. Tech also looked at my Electrolux Wall Oven which had stopped working after being cleaned and needed repairs but was not under warranty. He called Electrolux to find out what the problem likely was, and told me he would call me later that same day with the price for the part. Although, Abco charges for estimates and the dispatcher advised me I would be charged $59.95 which would be applied to the repair, the technician did not charge me. Perhaps that was because he had no intention of making the repair... I believe that the technician was John Ceglecki, the owner of Abco, but I am not certain of this.
On July 9, 2013, after waiting three weeks to hear from someone, I called and advised the dispatcher that I was still waiting for a price for my oven repair. She asked my address and said she would have the technician call me. She never apologized or expressed any interest or concern over the fact that I had been left hanging for weeks. I received no return phone call.
On July 10, 2013, I called again, but no one answered the phone. I suspected that my call was not being answered because the dispatcher recognized my name/number on the Caller ID. So I utilized *67 to block my number and called again. I received a prerecorded message from the phone company, stating that the number I had dialed did not accept calls from restricted numbers and if I wanted to get through I needed to unblock my number or call from a different phone. (What legitimate business blocks callers with restricted numbers?) I called again without blocking my number, and surprise, surprise, no one answered.
Today, July 30, 2013, having heard NOTHING from Abco (regarding either appliance) in the seven weeks since the technician visited my home, I called Electrolux and advised them that I had called for service under my extended warranty on June 10, 2013 and was still waiting for the work to be done. The customer service rep from Electrolux tried to contact Abco, but NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. Therefore, she made arrangements for another provider to make the repair on my refrigerator.
I would not recommend Abco to anyone for anything. They provide ZERO customer service.

I originally called Jersey Coast Repairs in Toms River, NJ. I was told it would be about $85 for the service call (just to look). If he did the repair, the $85 would go toward the repair, and I would pay the difference if any, for parts and labor. I explained that the problem was most likely a door that was out of alignment. I asked if that were the case, what be be the approximate cost of the repair, since alignment is a relatively simple task and does not require any parts. I was told it would cost around $275 to re-align the door! (plus parts, if any). This seemed quite high to me for a door adjustment, and I said so. She said it was not such an easy task and takes a long time. Didn't make sense to me, but I needed the door to close.
I then called Abco, the only other repair service close by authorized, besides Jersey Coast, to service my Frigidaire refrigerator. I explained the same thing - door does not close, likely needs adjustment to realign the door. The service call would be $68, which would go toward parts/labor for the repair if I elected to do it. I chose Abco.
The serviceman came on time, verified it was an alignment issue, realigned the door, and charged me the service call of $68, not a penny more. What a difference in price!!!!
Both companies could use a little in-service training for their phone personnel. No one was particularly rude, but it was rather uninviting to a new customer to hear less-than-professional phone service. Gum cracking, papers rustling, distracted voices, etc. I got the feeling from each place that if I asked too many questions, they would just hang up or get patronizing. I'd stay away from Jersey Coast. Abco was great - but they ought to improve their customer service.

Response from Abco Appliance Repair

"In response to Member comment. First and foremost we would like to apologize that you had a bad experience with Abco. However, we told Mrs Inglima's from the beginning it would take minimum of 10-14 business days but it could be longer and that Abco would call her as soon as we received the tub. Member left me a message on August 24, and left me a message to call her back if not that day, then on Monday. On August 27th Denise from Abco called the Member to schedule her for the tub install and she refused service. Abco Appliance still has her recorded telephone message on file that she left on August 24. We are not in the business to take consumers money, therefor Abco is sending a refund to Mrs Inglima's, menus her service charge of $96.24. The Member will receive a check for $103.76 to show Abco' s good character."
